Actually there are some really funny posts in there, and it’s a lot of joking about. Seriously , if it bothers you then don’t bother reading it! Everyone seems lovely about Maisie too on there. Some of the twitter stans are somewhat mad though - the AT thread laughs about them too.
It’s the facebook RIO granny supporters on facebook that are the worst! They are all convinced Gio is going to run off with Rose!
ETA - the various messages Aj, Kai, Maisie and others have posted today on insta has shown they are still lovely supportive friends with each other, which after a long silence is pretty heartwarming. Always good to have a cheerleader!

I don’t doubt that some of the comments are in jest and I don’t think anyone there genuinely means harm, but I think it’s fairly obvious that the shipping comes from a hopeful place and it isn’t just all one big joke. If they genuinely didn’t care about it there wouldn’t be 700 pages worth of people debating it!

From what I’ve seen on Twitter, I think they’re both as bad as each other. I wouldn’t know about the Rio shippers on Facebook because I don’t use it but that’s what I’d expect from Facebook users tbh 😂 they’re mostly middle aged or older and have no sense of awareness or boundaries when it comes to celebrity as that’s the era they’re from. While I do think the Rio shippers can be messy and intrusive (it was worse while the show was airing, it’s died down a bit since) I’m still not sure it’s worse than the pages and pages of surveillance, investigation and analysis on every little thing AJ and Kai do — it’s disturbing.

I agree, that’s exactly what it is — lovely messages of support. But some people on the thread have taken it to mean that they’re soulmates and ‘they’re clearly so in love’! Just calm down 😂
 
I think the thread is funny, and it is clear most of the comments have a degree of irony. What is also clear is that people there are heavily invested in them being together; that's people's choice, of course, but it nearly always leads to getting burned. Real people are not fantasy projections, and if Kai decided to date one of his instababes there would be meltdown.

The twitter stans are actually major AJ only fans I’ve noticed- they are her cheerleaders . She likes loads of stuff they post, so I think she’s absolutely fine. Everyone is so positive about her, it’s probably helping her self esteem. Hope the good news tomorrow is a big TV gig!

Well Janette is still planning on doing that, so probably not that ( although AJ would be mega - maybe next years?)

Thoughts were that AJ could be offered a relaunch of Big Breakfast. Mo Gilligan ( who she did the one off show with) has an announcement coming up next week, so maybe related. Other thoughts - Love Island ( if Laura is stepping down) or It takes two ( but a bit early to announce that).

Just because they are positive and she interacts with them doesn't mean their attention is always welcomed and it certainly isn't pressure free, her words whilst warm certainly said to me I'm fine please kindly back off, my injury is hard to talk about.
 
So Nikita appears to still be in Germany. Tilly is already at the tour hotel.
wonder what is going on there? Surely he should be with all the others by now?
 
Ah ok, I only saw it later on. Possible he's positive, and has to wait to travel, especially as there is no announcement..
 
I learn from the DS thread that Gio and Maura have unfollowed each other. Bizarre to co-ordinate it! is that part of the contract, or does one do it and then the other immediately retaliate? What are the celeb/influencer rules?
