On one hand, as an Oti fan, I’m thrilled that she’s finding so much success as she seems like a really lovely person who works very hard to build her career. But I do think she will start to seem like she’s everywhere and it may irritate people. Also I’m not convinced a cheesy ITV singing show is where her talents lie.

I love Oti, and I can see why she wouldn't want to turn down a prime time gig. But yeah, going by the description of that show, I do hope she's a pickier with her projects in the future, especially if she gets to a position when she doesn't have to say yes to everything

I think the jury's still out on her presenting skills. She has a natural charm, but she's been a bit chaotic when I've seen her on Steph's Packed Lunch. Presenting is an odd skill - I think good presenters often get written off by some as a bit dull, but it's only when you see someone do it badly or is inexperienced that you realise how tricky it is to get right

AJ is very very experienced at presenting, I really think she’s inundated with offers at the moment.

Being north-west born myself I love her voice! You can’t accuse her of not being positive and cheerful!
 
This new show Oti is doing is going to be on ITV at primetime? It sounds like it should be on ITV2 at 10pm 😬 but it's looking more and more likely that Oti will leave Strictly this year, it's getting to the stage where she will be more famous than her celeb partner. There's nothing left for her to do on Strictly, other than win it for a third time.

I think there’s room for both of them as they’re very different, although AJ has been presenting for a lot longer so it’d be interesting if they were both going for the same gig. I watched Emma and AJ Go To Work (they were in my home town) and that was the first thing of AJ’s I’d seen other than Strictly. She was really genuine, great with the couple and very easy to watch.

ETA - this sounds….awful.

It does look a bit low budget doesn’t it?
I’ve seen AJ on The Wheel, Would I lie to you and The Big Breakfast. She definitely suits a chaotic style of programme like the latter as she seems to be able to think on her feet and cope with all the madness around her. ITT would be the perfect vehicle for her and really hope she gets offered it, as she’s worked with Rylan on Big Brother in the past and you can see the pair of them work so well together. I need to find a way to watch the one she did with Emma, as it looks good from the clips I’ve seen.
