Yeah, maybe they did see each other and just didn't post it on social media. What I don't get is that IF they're together, why haven't they STILL announced it yet!? It's not like one of them is in a relationship???

I know Gemma and Gorka waited until after the tour to confirm that they were a couple but they didn't dance together like AJ and Kai and only really got to know each other on tour.

You probably saw my reply above, and I agree, just think they will have mentioned it to her first as it’s only polite. Maisie will be fab, she’s a great dancer!

AJ has never ever mentioned any relationships in the past, she keeps it totally locked down. There won’t be an announcement even if they are. I do think they are very good friends.

Thoughts on the pro dances for the tour?
The love story one I hope, as Kai and Johannes both there.
What else did anyone like?

The sheer mental gymnastics that the shippers are putting themselves through to try and evade the fairly obvious truth that AJ and Kai were good buddies on Strictly and nothing more are very entertaining.

They are doing Maisies Quickstep and Samba, Kai is just the hired pro here.

Thoughts are that due to the speed of the sub they’ve had to adapt what they already had lined up. Sucks for Maisie though as not her fault of course.

the thing is though, it isn't ajs dress, its a dress she wore to dance in. loads of other dresses are worn by other people.
 
This is exactly what happened with Ranvir and Gio. Never seen together again after the show but 6 months later his fans were raging when he showed he wasn’t dating her.
Aj and Kai are just friends like he said in one of his posts. They haven’t been hiding their love away from anyone and they haven’t met up.
Kai will be seen with a girl soon and she will be destroyed online.
The shippers need to stop for their own mental health.

I am wondering how long they will go on for - duration of the tour, no doubt, and AJ turning up to see the tour will be seen as confirmation they 'can't keep away from each other'. But after? How long did people continue fantasising Mollie and AJ Pritchard were a couple for? They are the only comparable situation I can remember - most of the other Strictly couples shippers did have some basis in reality. [have to say, I thought Ranvir and Giovanni were quite clear they weren't dating from more or less the time they went out of the competition and relatively few people ever thought otherwise]

The difference is that last year we were all in lockdown for 4 months after SCD so I guess it was easier for fantasies to run wild! now it will seem odd if AJ/Kai aren't spotted together soon. Of course they might be meeting up privately. I will say that them facetiming on NYE is proof they are still close one way or another.
Now Rose and Gio have had dinner so doubtless that will be spun as a date, even though there is clearly someone else with them!

I don’t think there is anything wrong with wanting two people to be together, but it becomes really obsessive on DS and twitter to the point it’s scary. If they reveal in 3 months time they are together than great! If not, they had an amazing connection and will be good friends for years to come i’m sure.

Yes 'lockdown' is a good point. But, honestly, the fact that they have never been spotted together other than for professional reasons throughout the whole series is pretty conclusive that nothing is going on. I can't think of a single Strictly couple (maybe Pasha and his missis but I'm not convinced they got together until after) were there weren't intrusive photos of them together. None of their fans seem to be saying Rose and Gio were on a date do they - they clearly are good mates.

Some shippy comments on facebook groups.
There were some intrusive photos of Kj hugging after a rehearsal early on ( where Kai looks furious at the photographer), and they stopped after that. She has a good agent, who may have warned off the press due to covid and safety reasons. There haven’t been any pap shots of anyone since apart from leaving the ITT studios.

Thankfully even The Sun is reporting on last night as a meal between friends rather than anything romantic. I do think Rose and Giovanni became really good friends during Strictly and hopefully those few over-zealous fans who pop up in their IG comments will slowly disappear because it would be a shame if the ‘shippers’ made them feel they couldn’t share when they meet up or comment on each other’s posts. Why does anyone think it’s appropriate to go on Rose’s IG and tell her she should marry Gio? 🙄

I don’t think her partner was with them because I doubt you’d squish another person and their meal on that tiny table but the owner was tagged so I’m guessing he joined them for a drink.

Yes, Gio and Aaron are joined at the hip! I am sure most people see Gio and Rose's relationship for what it is. As for AJ and Kai, I guess that he won't have time to see her till after the tour, but I agree, I don't see why they wouldn't be seen in public together if they're dating

Actually there have been quite a few 'pap' shots of Tilly - but not suggesting any romance, of course. I don't believe AJ's reps would have any more clout than, for eg Ben Cohen's lawyers, who were extremely heavy handed in trying to stop shots of he and Kristina, or the many couples like Flavia and Matt di Angelo, Artem and Kara, who were photographed together, in stopping photos of them out together socially if they were. Papers are avid for Strictly romances and it is relatively easy to 'tail' couples due to the well known studio patterns and a leaky production team. But dream on if you want!

Slightly different times back then - no covid! With all the bubbling and precautions the celebs/pros just weren’t going out and about much. There are only so many leaving rehearsal photos you can publish, and really they aren’t that well known enough.

I agree. Gemma and Gorka frequently posted the two of them hanging out even when Gemma was in the press saying they were just friends. Ashley and Giovanni went on holiday and spent Christmas together right after the final. Joe and Dianne confirmed their relationship the day after the show finished. The only Strictly couples who’ve hidden that they’re spending time together after the show finished were the ones where messiness was involved (Hi, Stacey and Kevin) but that’s not AJ and Kai. Two single people dating is hardly massive news even if they were on Strictly.
