I thought the way the interview was put together was pretty bad. It should have been recap, what they plan to do for the finals and then the injury talk. Otherwise it's all a bit "here's what you could have won!"

I suppose they could maybe go up to 16 celebs like in 2008 & 2009. That would be easily workable with an 18 pro lineup. The increase of injuries is probably because of them all training crazy hours, much more than in the early years.

Yeah, I think if Rylan had been doing it he'd have handled it more sensitively, though I suppose the structure would have been the same. IT was tonally very off. Poor AJ.

Hope you recover quickly from Covid!
 
Just watched a video of AJ & Kai answering the finalist instagram questions (for some reason it's been deleted from the insta account but it's on twitter) it was really lovely and made me smile. AJ was shocked you really do get sewing into your knickers, Kai loves choregraphing, AJs favourite quality about Kai is his sense of humour and Kai loves that AJ is always positive even when on crutches.
Whatever the nature of their relationship it's clear they adore each other and will support one another through this horrible time for them both.

It was just so rushed! Weird when you consider that it was always suppose to be their last ITT interview anyway so it's not like they had to quickly shoe horn them in.
 
AJ is my absolute fave, so fingers are absolutely staying crossed, but as it looks like she might not be okay for the final…Do you guys think it would be totally insane for Kai to dance their show dance with say, Oti, and dedicate it to AJ? I totally get that they wouldn’t get 3 dances worth of ‘content’ if they’re out of the competition, but I’d love for the BBC to actually make a bit of effort in how they fill the space
 
I would imagine theyd have to draft in some pros to do some stuff on the night to fill the gaps and keep the extended runtime if AJ can't dance. And to give the other two couples adequate rest time between dances! Poor AJ - I don't think she was ever going to win, but now there will always be that sense of never knowing what might have been.

It would be nice to see their showdance done but I think AJ would probably like to be the first to do it with Kai and the BBC could publish it when she's able to dance again.

Perhaps we could see that lovely dance they had lined up to do for Mabel and two other pro fillers? Kai could do one. I'd say the gorgeous dance he did with Jojo but I think he might be a bit busy dancing with John so... erm... maybe Aljaz?

I'm absolutely devastated for her. Hoping somehow she can manage something on Saturday, but not at risk to her wellbeing

Yeah, I would love some bonus pro dances. Don't know if there would be time to pull something together at this late stage, although I guess they could always do this, since they apparently have dances they don't even use at their disposal.

 
AJs showdance song I would love to see this showdance I take back yesterdays moaning about it being a best bits style dance I just want to see her dance :cry:

Oh no, sounds like it would incorporate contemporary 😬 This song was used for a contemporary CC already - I want to say Lauren's?

Honestly think they should have gone old school with glam and sass like they're good at.

His eyes were full of tears at one point, that's when Jennet when into overdrive I suspect panicked both of them were both about to break down.
Neither of them looked like they have slept at all what a stressful week, even if she's able to dance by Friday/Saturday they were going to be emotionally rung out by the time the cameras roll on Saturday.

That wouldn't surprise me Kai loves a bit of Contemporary, in each of his long runs on DWTS with contenders he got the bare feet out. And during the Contemporary Pro dances he was often one of the principle dancers.
