I’m still hoping Tom goes completely rogue and finds a way to make the final all about himThey’re the 3 best dancers. Of them John is the weakest. AJ and Rose both have things they struggle with technically. None of them is perfect or a ringer. That’s why it’s such a brilliant line up for a final, and what a bonus that it happens to be so diverse.
Rhys and Tilly were also great but perhaps not dynamic enough to be finalists given there were only 3 slots.
IMAGINE if the final had been Tom, Dan and Adam
It seems Rose can’t be criticized at all on this forum. Everyone else is fair game but Rose is treated as an infant who must be protected. Bizarre.
She’s a grown woman.
Statement from BBC regarding AJ’s injury:
Strictly Come Dancing finalist AJ Odudu is on crutches after sustaining a foot injury ahead of Saturday's final.
The TV presenter has been unable to train this week due to ligament damage.
However, she and her partner Kai Widdrington are understood to be hopeful about taking part in this Saturday's show.

100% he had her makeup all round his lips after the AT tooI’m sure too, despite all the mixed messages. Look at the post interview after the couples choice, they’ve defo snogged before going in that room ( lips very pink!), I think that they are desperately trying to keep things professional though, to get the work done for the final. Perhaps afterwards they can work out if it’s something to properly pursue.
Oh dear. I really hope she's able to dance (the lack of training is a big worry if she does, though). If she can't, they can't really have a two person final - what would happen?
Ah no it’ll be such a shame if she has to withdraw, especially at this stage! There will probably be an announcement on ITT by the sounds of itThat’s AJ out. Ligament damage is horribly painful and she could make it a lot worse. Absolutely gutting for her, she can’t train and it may be train wreck to watch if she tries to dance. Poor AJ.
You don’t know the extent of the injury. I’ve had ligament damage and was fine within a day. I’m pretty sure if her injury was shown to be that bad on her scan she would have been told she couldn’t dance and a statement would have been released. That’s AJ out. Agreed. And as I said, if her scan showed damage that was that bad she would have been told she couldn’t danceYes I suspect we will get a better idea of how bad it is by tonight. If she can't even make it into the studio in person then there is no way she is training tomorrow. If she can make training then I think the producers will be accommodating with dance choices. I very much doubt we will see the Charleston, Jive or CC.
I found the wording in that statement interesting, the part about AJ and Kai still being confident they will dance on Saturday sounded like the producers are giving them the space to come to terms with possibly having to withdraw.
The fact that she ran competitively as a teenager and still runs and keeps very active might mean she is better to judge for herself if she can dance with such an injury.
Even with short rehearsal time AJ knows two of the routines and the showdance is based upon their 'best bits' so hopefully if she is fit enough it wont have the same level of negative impact compared to other weeks.
Tom the chin will no doubt step up to the plate! It’s his moment to shine! He’s been waiting in the wings !!!
i'm not disagreeing or agreeing with the rest of your post but people were arguing against people saying rose jumping up and down annoyed them. But the whole point of a forum is differing opinions - we don’t have to sit back and agree with people.
Someone said the other day Rose jumping up and down annoyed them and a couple of people said they thought her leg action at the end of her AT wasn’t great - those are criticisms and I don’t remember anyone arguing (I certainly didn’t). But if someone says she’s going for the sympathy vote because she’s deaf and I don’t agree with it, I’m going to counter it.

Bit in bold - that wasn’t what you said though

Your first post read to me that you were not a fan and she was going for the sympathy vote right the way through. Of course you’re entitled to your opinion just as much as I am so if I disagree I’m going to give reasons why I do.

Plot twist... Was Tom the one who injured AJ's foot?
Look out Rose and John! Tamey will do whatever it takes to lift the glitterball!
