I can see why people might speculate that he is attracted to her and possibly even developed feelings but I would be astounded if he had acted on those feelings. Family devotion aside, it would destroy his career.

I’d never seen that before. Kinda wish it’d stayed that way . The puppets flopping about was very unsettling.

Sorry Puppets creep me out too. I'm sure Philip Schofield is responsible for it but Erin really helped solidify my aversion to them.

Nadiya is stunning and nice. She would turn anybody’s head. But if DW has started a relationship with her, I feel very sorry for his wife and kids. I hope he hasn’t. Nadiya’s partner looks like a hard nut too. I wouldn’t want to rile him.

I know you’re joking but it’s just funny because when you thought Giovanni was romanticising his friendship with Rose to try and get them further on, you thought it was disrespectful to Rose’s boyfriend so shipping for your fave when Nikita has a girlfriend doesn’t sound too dissimilar…

Nadiya was rumoured to be having an affair with David James in their year. She has a partner and a small child - I know that doesn’t guarantee someone’s morality but someone in the public eye having more than one affair behind their partner’s back sounds really risky. I still think he was a bit in awe of her and maybe did fancy her (and I think she thought a lot of him too) but I’d be very surprised if anything happened.

Um, it was a throwaway joke on a forum that Nikita's gf will never see (Whereas the Gio/Rose shippers are all over Twitter and insta). I don't actually want them to get together! just a comment on how dance chemistry can be quite powerful even in a short moment. And Katya would, of course, get crucified if she got together with a guy who wasn't single.
I looked up Nadiya's insta - she appears to be still with her partner, the Slovenian footballer who is the father of her kid, or at least she was in June. I don't think she would do anything with Dan.

I think because she's a beautiful blonde, everyone wants to paint her as some kind of femme fatale, especially since Kristina left. It's one thing leaving a boyfriend /girlfriend for someone you met on Strictly 3 months ago, but to leave 2 families with children is a whole different matter.

My point about Rose's bf at the moment is that he basically has to avoid SM or he will be seeing loads of comments about his gf and Gio (people on her last post telling them to get married). It’s all pretty sad, I must be getting old because I will never understand why people become so heavily invested in someone else’s business. And whilst you were joking not everyone is sadly, and that’s pretty scary

Dan is a devout Christian. He refuses to work Sundays and only took part in Halloween week on the proviso that he didn’t have to wear a costume that could, in any way, be linked to witchcraft/the devil/anything pagan.
If he did have feelings for Nadiya, that would cause a massive emotional turmoil for him and there’s no way he would/could act on it.

I agree, I really don’t think he would. They just seem to have a fun friendship and have met each others kids etc.

Re: that AJ injury, she seemed upbeat on the Zoe Ball interview yesterday morning so is hopefully fine now. She is a tough cookie! If she can survive the SAS camp , she can cope with this. She’s been dancing the whole time with a historic broken toe that still bothers her as it is.

Maybe he does just have a huge crush on her, but the DM generally do that kind of thing when there is a story they want to tell but can’t. I need to avoid these comments because it’s so deeply cringe/awkward, so lord knows how he feels about it. Nothing, hopefully. Or I hope he just sees it as a sign Rose is doing well

Tbf I do think the Dan speculation is harsher than Rose and Gio as Dan had consistently spoke about his wife and kids throughout the show. If you only watched the programme/looked on Instagram you’d have no idea that Rose had a boyfriend so I can see why people don’t know

Yeah, he’s making hay while the sun shines! Why wouldn’t he? He’s single, attractive and if you get into a relationship with him you’d be aware he’s a playa. I expect he’ll settle down when he’s stopped dancing, but at the moment he’s living his best life. Rose is just a good pal.

No I dont either. Its so strange when people get so invested in real life relationships of people they dont know! Its not even always young girls, a lot of the time its older people who must have had relationships, yet get invested so much in other peoples relationships on the internet, and its not always jokingly!
