🙌 I have found my people! I enjoy shows so much more when I know everything about it. I think it started way back during my LOST days stalking the net to find out who died next.
 
I used to not look at Strictly spoilers but now if you look on twitter someone will have spoiled it so I feel I might as well inform myself via Dave Thorp!

The week Tom left? Luckily I didn’t read the hints that people were saying outside the spoilers as I could see it was going that way so I deliberately didn’t open the thread again until after the results show. I’m glad I did as I retrospectively read it back, people were so elated it was obvious who they were talking about

Personally, I’d rather have the result ‘spoiled’ by interesting chat on here, than every time I open a newspaper seeing the questionable headline of who left the studio looking sad on Saturday night. Even if I avoid the Sunday papers, they seem to put ads for the papers that reveal the results across social media. It’s become very very hard to avoid spoilers this year

Yeah, I've noticed this also. And if they're not subtly spoiling the results through their choice of headlines and pictures, they're running stories about how Strictly fans are "outraged" that the BBC won't "stop pretending the results show is live" or "do something about the spoiler". Which, I don't think anyone is that mad about it lol.

I personally would expire from the tension if there were no spoiler, especially the deeper we go into the competition. And knowing that it exists means I am absolutely compelled to look at it

Not that it's necessarily indicative of anything, but he did have a long-term ex-gf
