Reminds me of the time they did DWTS Juniors and one of the original Dance Moms girls was a contestant and another Dance Mom girl was one of the pros🙈

I’m so glad they’re keeping the same way of finding out partners as last year!

Did anyone get tickets for the show on the 11th?

She was in dance moms for a couple of years. However I don’t think she’s ever had any explicit ballroom or Latin dance training. Plus, she’s expressed how she didn’t always want to do dance (I think she was pushed by her mum to help her become a performer) so I don’t think she’s really carried on much since she left the show. Mackenzie Ziegler was on the junior version a few years ago. I think people were annoyed at that as she was only really known for being on dance moms, we’re as Jojo is known for her music and merch. I might actually watch dwts this year to see how she does as I think she’ll be entertaining to watch.

She was but aside from learning routines for her music videos and performances she’s not really done much proper dancing in recent years. I’m pretty sure shes not really done a technique class or attended a dance studio for class week in week out for some years now. Unfortunately a lot of the girls from DM specifically the ones who joined dance moms later in it’s run regressed and lost a lot of their talent because they were no longer training properly just filming for the show. Whilst I don’t agree with the show casting ringers like Ashley Roberts. I’m not sure jojo really falls in the same
category. Plus allegedly she’s DWTS USAs first same sex partnership which is probably a really great casting choice given she’s quite young and people look up to her.

I don’t know her, but she was good on masked singer

That’s good as I liked that format. As you said, the in studio version where they were all lined up looked a bit like Blind Date or like an old fashioned American school dance where you are waiting to be paired up and the last ones standing are lumbered with whoever is left.

At least with the on location format it’s a surprise for everyone, in the studio the element of surprise with the last two standing has gone and they have to conjure up this fake enthusiasm when they go to hug their new partner

I hate the studio format. It is sooo fake. The over the top excitement from both celeb & pro are 🤮. I hope they never go back to it..

I never get to join in live time because we never get to watch it live from the start. But I love catching up.

What I also loved last year was the presence of a spoiler when discussing the dance off - it’s human nature some people like to know before the Sunday night but everyone was considerate.
