I imagine Tom was pretty unbearable backstage but I also don’t think he’s formed friendships and bonds with other contestants. I imagine that some of the others are now pretty good friends (and despite what the show might try portray) they’re probably socialising off camera with each other. I don’t get that with Tom and Amy.

A part of me also wonders if Amy is that well liked amongst the other pros. I know she asked Dianne and Oti???? To be bridesmaids but injust wonder if some of the others find her too much.

Still thought his dance was alright. I didn't read the thread until now in case of spoilers so got mildly interested when it looked like J and J would be in bottom 2. Great to see Nadiya still in (with Dan) and always nice to see Luba even if she was channeling her inner Grotbags tonight. Thought the song was a bit tit; haven't we had something from that Jamie musical recently - surely not last year unless the last 12 months have been more of a blur than usual? Claudia was ready for bed for some reason and another time to wish the BBC and its people would stop the charade that the results show is on a different day.

I feel the same way, I want to give the guy a chance since he's young and not yet had a celeb but there's something about him I can't warm to and his dancing style is a bit odd. Jowita always looks a lot better when they dance together, I think she's definitely up to the job of having a celeb partner. I'd let Cameron get at least one shot but I am a bit less sure about how he'd do, if his own dancing doesn't quite hit the mark, I'm not sure how he'll manage with teaching and choreographing those styles for a celeb (bit like Graziano).

He's dancing style has been more street but when I saw him on ITT with a group teaching him, he was just fast and not getting the vibe.
 
I have just watched the results show. I put off watching it because I'd seen an early (incorrect) spoiler that John had been eliminated and was pissed off.

So for the first time ever, watched the results show without knowing the outcome. Couldn't be more delighted that It was McFurlough that went, beaming!!
 
I honestly haven't stopped laughing all night! his "acting" faces in the dance, the way he kept looking like he was about to break in half whenever amy was around his neck, the CHIN, the tears, the sister, the attempt at looking like a normal human at elimination time 😆

i cannot remember enjoying an elimination more!
