Oh dear I suspect they will just keep the 3 judges instead of finding a replacement for Craig. It will likely muck up the scoreboard with multiple ties, now more than ever to be safe the couples need to get to the top of the scoreboard. The pros will be cracking the whip this week!

Can TPTB kiss and make up with James Jordan for one weekend only? I'm pretty nervous about the leaderboard without Craig - I enjoy Anton but he is a bit of an overmarker and I don't trust the other two not to make a mess of the leaderboard.

If it’s only out of 30, and you’ve got Motsi, Shirley & Anton giving nothing below a 7 or 8, the leaderboard is going to be a mass of ties and that’s when the public vote really gets tested.

Any hope of keeping the leader board in check is going to fall to Anton, he needs to stop being so generous!

The wording of the statement made it sound like Craig won't be judging remotely.

'While Craig will not be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, all being well he will return the following week'

I presume it fine as long as hecisnt working. It's not about what other people think ( or shouldn't be anyway) I can't imagine anyone over the age of 8 thinks it's live on Sunday at this point. Why would they completely redo their makeup and costumes for a 1 minute slot on Sunday?

Husband never watches strictly ( or is reluctantly in the room but not paying attention). He actually watched the bit on ITT with Rose and Gio , as it was on in the kitchen and he’d heard about the couple's choice from the news. He immediately said ‘they are a couple I presume?’. Nope I said, she has a boyfriend. ‘He’s in love with her’, he replied.
So there you go, that’s his observation anyway!
