I have some observations from ITT this afternoon. When interviewing Rose, several times the boots were referred to as ‘it’ instead of ‘them’. So rose got to take it home, which Janette repeated. I found this very irritating (in Janette, not Rose). Then she kept drawing out her As in a CRH type of affected way. It just sounded weird. Like Holloween, which she also says. The Charleston thing with wooden Harvey was just plain awful. And finally (probably not, but all I have for now), she asked Rose how she feels when she hears a song. I mean, seriously? Oh oh oh and what she wears to host an early evening show on BBC2 is hideous and completely inappropriate - and I don’t mean sexually so.
 
Janette has always been hyper so not surprised she is exactly the same on ITT.
But it is not a show about her. She is only the presenter and I wish someone would tell her.
And why does she always dress like she is living in the 1980's? Alexis Carrington would've been proud of those sleeves on the outfit she was wearing tonight 🤣

Adam was quite a lot younger than her - do teenagers compete? I don’t think she did anything wrong and I feel so sorry for her that the press have gone overboard again.

I think they mean someone in their early 20s/late teens. Katya is 8 years older than Adam, but he is 26 and a fully grown adult and I think in most cases once someone’s around that age it’s quite acceptable to date someone a few years older.

She is 32, so 6 years older than Adam. My mind boggled at the fact that she said she’d been with Neil for 10 years, since she was 18!
I agree a HRVY or Karim unthreatening type would be good (though she’d probably end up being accused of being a sexual predator by the Express!).

Anton and Erin on the judging panel together would be lovely. I’m afraid I’m more eager to replace Motsi than Shirley at this point though. I was rooting for her at the beginning but it’s her third series and she hasn’t offered a single meaningful comment bless her. Karen Hardy is still my absolute number 1 for the panel but I doubt they’d be able to have that many ex pros and then Craig.

Karen went for Shirley's job, when it was advertised and didn't get it and we haven't seen much of her since. :rolleyes:
I think Shirley tends to choose the boy celebs to save over the girls!

Shirley is a good judge when she wants to be. She really does favour the men though and sometimes she’ll mention a little mistake and still give a 10. As head judge, she should be looking for dances as perfect as they’re going to get before thinking about 10s. I can only think of a few dances this series I’d have given 10s for so far.
 
Surely Shirley (ha) can’t be like that when she judges competitions outside of strictly. Only giving good scores to the nice looking young men in the couples and ignoring any unfortunate looking or older ones. She should be great - but I think celebrity has gone to her head.

Irrelevant really but I'm always waiting for somebody to say "surely you can't be serious" to Shirley.

I wouldn’t even want them from free 🤣 what a snooze fest that will be. Although I do have the fear that Tom and his chin are going to win - if she managed to win I’m a celeb and was by far the most boring pointless contestant, I can just see him getting the public vote.

I have the same feeling of dread! I read somewhere though that as the final of IAC was getting nearer, Tom Tit put on social mediate that if Giovanna won, she would donate her winnings to a cancer charity. I didn’t watch it but she must have reined her smugness in, so that combined with the “selfless” charity act might have been what swung it. At least Tom can’t do the same so I’m hopeful the other stronger and better candidates will give people more to choose from
