Choreography corner, I liked it when Karen did it long ago..she'd discuss and dissect the weekend's performance positively but also critically.

When she was talking about Adam, did anyone else think she'd have devoured him if she'd had the chance in her day? 😅
Yes! Also historically her affairs were with the sports celebs 😉

I’d forgot about Caroline 😩🤣
wife of Mr Sam Farmer?😆

I really do love Rylan. I'd love to see him dance in the Christmas Special. Ideally the main show but I don't think that will happen now, but I think he could probably do Christmas?

Just out of interest, who would you pair Rylan with? He'd look lovely with Nadiya or Graz.

I have a soft spot for Johannes and think he is a beautiful dancer. John ruins johannes for me in interviews / where there is any opportunity for him to speak :( I want to like John but as I've said a few times now I find him disingenuous. I have enjoyed some of their dances together and hope I enjoy the rumba!
Dan walker annoys me, Adam is a bit of a pleb and don't get me started on Tom (and Amy).

I don't really have any strong feelings about any of the contestants who are in now, apart from Tom who is obnoxious and cringeable.

I didn't warm to Robert - he came across very cold and distant, though I understand he was obviously worried about his heart the whole time and it sounds like he didn't entirely enjoy his experience, which is fair enough.

I also think Rhys is way too earnest, tries too hard and just looking at him makes me tired - he reminds me of some of the teenage boys I used to teach. That makes him slightly endearing to me too, mind you.

Everyone else I like or am not fussed about.

Johannes talked on Steph's Packed Lunch the other day about being stopped by police all the time in London as a tall black man. I also think as a quite effeminate gay black dancer he must have gone through a lot, no wonder he is so emotional this year to be validated and celebrated. He won't win (that will be Rose) but to get to the final and be the focus of so much positive energy must be incredible for him.

Absolutely, especially growing up in South Africa where attitudes are a lot more conservative. I am so pleased he has a space where he can be himself now and be a role model for many young men going through the same.

I would love to go dancing with Johannes. It would be fun and I bet he'd be great company.
