I can't quite put my finger on it. I totally appreciate she is a beautiful dancer and clearly a person with high standards in all that she does. I unfollowed her on Instagram as I found her reposting the stories of people praising her dances irritating. (I know some celebs/pros do it and she is by no means the only one). James Jordan mentioned in his tweets she finds taking criticism difficult which I hadn't picked up on. Maybe it's her natural loudness that gives that impression. There is just something about her that is stopping me from getting invested in her the way I have with Rose and Sara. I did think it was lovely how she was genuinely touched by Motsi's comments and you could see she was emotional. At times I feel like she is just shouting "thank you" after each comment from the judges. I am a reserved person by nature so maybe we're just polar opposites!

Fair enough. I don’t see any of those things at all but it’s interesting to see how we all interpret things differently. I think the shouting thank you all the time could be a nerves thing? Also as you said all of the other pros/celebs repost messages from fans so I don’t see anything wrong with that 🤷🏻‍♀️ We all know she won’t win as it’s obviously going to be Rose but in my opinion it will be criminal if she’s not in that final.

Bottom two is semi unsurprising it was always going to be judi vs Dan/Rhys/Adam/Sara imo. So assuming judi goes I wouldn’t be surprised if Dan leaves next then Sara or Adam/Rhys after that.
As for Tom…. Mcfly picked up a load of new younger fans when Carrie and he did that whole dear Tom tit on YouTube. I’m an “og fan” and can say that myself and most of my friends who were into them back in the day aren’t bothered by them anymore (because of decisions made by Tom) so it’s probably not original fans voting but the YouTube ones and kids who love his books.

It is interesting how perceptions are different. I suppose if we all thought the same it would be boring. I never thought Stacey Dooley would win but she was clearly the popular vote in her year. I definitely think AJ and Rose will be in the final and deservedly so! I thought John would be the 3rd finalist but I'm unsure now.

With you on this as well. To me she just seems to be really enjoying the once in a lifetime experience and giving her best to it, shame that’s being viewed as thinking “she’s the tit” or buying into hype now, that’s not the vibe I’ve been getting from that, but you’re right to say I guess we all interpret things differently. It’s a competition, they are doing long days (think Kai said on ITT that they do 10 hour days) and the judges can be hard to please at times, so she may want to give her all for those reasons. Definitely deserves to be in the final with Rose who has also been amazing and is putting so much into showing us great dances with Gio.

I do agree with others that the romance stuff has reached cringe territory now, so I’m hoping that is no longer a focus after this week as they have been putting in great performances and hope they continue doing so, they are amongst my faves to watch each week.

John doesn't seem to be getting any better. He started at one level, very good, but hasn't developed from week one.

I could see tilly being the 3rd person in final

Oh Judi. I mean, she did her best but I really don't like the whole powering on through illness thing - not good for her health as she was clearly still knackered, and not a good message to send out in the current climate. It's ok to rest if you are ill!

Really loved Tilly's dance! No one is more surprised than me. A Halloween chacha is usually the kiss of death but they were brilliant

Made up for Rose and Giovanni. They are adorable

I like AJ and Kai but don't really get the insane, sizzling chemistry thing that everyone else seems to get. The weird kiss comments tonight and excessive reposting of their AT almost-kiss stuff on insta - either they are together and playing on that, which is a bit cringy mid-series, or they're not together and want everyone to think they might be, which is a bit tacky. Either way, I'm not feeling it (but I do still like AJ a lot)

That was really shite choreography from Johannes. Pull your socks up, because I don't want to risk you losing a dance off to Tom Fletcher

I feel like Adam ought to be better by now, but he was very dull tonight

They started the show with Neil looking terrifying as pinocchio and they ended it with him being dry humped by Frankenstein's monster. Truly the stuff of nightmares
