Between the Strictly pay check and AJ’s influence I am confident that Kai will have a full set of veneers for next series and I am here for it 🤩
I love a Charleston: they’re often my favourite dances of the series and I love the fact that even some of the weaker dancers have more success with them: they always look like they have a ball and it often serves a confidence boost but I was disappointed in J&J’s last night: it was just a bit blah. Maybe it was the music? Maybe my expectations were just too high? But it won’t be one I ever watch again: here’s hoping for some steaminess next week!
Rhys just isn’t very interesting is he? I too forget about him ever week.
I was a huge McFly fan back in the day and loved it when Harry was on. My daughter also loved Tom’s Christmasaurus book and we went to see it live a few years back (she also loved his sister Carrie) but slowly I’ve become more and more disinterested in them and Tom just gives me the gip! I think someone above is right when they said he’s too over exposed? We see inside his and Giovanna’s ‘glass box’ every single second and it feels odd for him to on Strictly (attempting to be not smug). Seriously concerned bell get to the final due to his ‘insta’ connections like his Mrs stole the I’m a celeb victory 🙄

I find Rhys uncomfortable to watch. It's all just too jumpy and hyper. Last night watching the highlights on Instagram it looked like it was in the wrong speed. Hopefully Nancy will learn from Karim and a nice slow waltz or rhumba will show a different side as I think he could be really good better controlled.

I really loved John and Johannes but last night felt a little meh about their Charleston. It was overmarked but I think they just seem the same now and have definitely peaked. Another slower softer and romantic dance please

I remember a few years ago a 8 in the first few weeks was a good score and only the very best got a 10, and never in the first few weeks. Apart from Craig and sometimes Anton, there is rarely any critique and everything is amazing. The bias to keep in certain celebs (yes you Dan and Tom) is painfully obvious and they're ruining the show.

A 50% clear out of the judges and pros should give the show the refresh it needs. The viewing figures seem to be tanking so hopefully it'll happen

It's gotten so bad in the last few years, and it does take away from my enjoyment of the show, especially when I've watched a dance and you know it doesn't really matter whether it's good or bad, the judges are going to score however the hell they want. How can one dance get a 3 AND a 7? I know they have opinions on what they like and dislike, but that is how the audience is supposed to vote, not the judges - they're there to critique technique and skill, surely

I thought Motsi had been a wee bit better in the last few weeks, but last night all her comments were just a big word salad of nonsense. Anton is a bit dull imo, but at least he does point out mistakes sometimes. I just zone out whenever Shirley speaks now. Craig can stay though ha

She was particularly bad last night. There was a bit where Craig lost his patience with her - was it after Ugo had danced? When she said, 'oh but he's only been dancing for a few weeks' and Craig was all, 'So?? He's still crap?' (I paraphrase, but you get my drift)

agreed - I don’t think Rylan would replace Tess. If anything, Claudia would replace Tess and they’d bring in a new fresh cohost. Things have gotten a bit stale even though the current setup (judges and hosts) haven’t been around for *that* long, so something does need to change. I’d happily see Shirley and Motsi be replaced but if I had to choose, keep Motsi, Craig head judge then a replacement for Craig’s seat!
 
DM saying today they have confirmation from an insider that AJ and Kai are dating but offer up little new evidence. In previous years if contestants even left the same building together the DM had the coupled up but theyve got nothing we've not seen on screen.
Rhys is just too frantic- im sure it will be him and Judi in the bottlm 2 next week.
