Um anyways...

I really don’t think there’s anything between Gio & Ranvir but there are literally fan accounts dedicated to them as a couple on twitter 😂 what a lot of them don’t realise is Gio would have sexual chemistry with a brick wall because he’s so sexy, he’s been the same with all his partners but this one group are convinced that they are together... who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

Someone posted on DS pretty much this - that they have all allegedly, informally been invited back next year already as a thank you. Obviously might not be true, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was. I think their contracts are usually sorted by the end of January and this year they announced the line up mid March (and then AJ dropped out a few weeks later 😆)
 
I missed saturdays show live so I’m gutted I didn’t get to vote - Maisie was robbed! She wasn’t my favourite throughout the series, I thought she was a bit too try hard and very wooden but then the last few weeks she relaxed into it and I loved her in the final. ROBBED! I like Bill but IMO he didn’t deserve a win. Oh well!
 
I seen on insta Graziano can't get home to Italy for Christmas, I know people in London have been told they are not allowed travel on tier 2, but as an Italian citizen, the UK government can't legally stop him returned my to his home country. Even if he can't get a flight direct to Italy, surely he would even be able to make ake the Eurostar to France & travel home via trains & buses, I know it may take a few days, but would this not be an option for him? Or is it other European countries have danced any means of Travel from Britain, cause I know in Ireland our Taoiseach yesterday has cancelled all flights & ferries from Britain until at least Christmas day, in a bid to stop people coming home & spreading the virus.
I know this isn't the Covid thread, but just wondering as to why other then moral reasons would Graziano not be able to travel home?

Horrible dilemma to be in. Thing is, Eurostar isn’t operating at the moment.

It's not the UK government that's stopping the flights it's Italy. A lot of European countries have stopped flights to and from UK because of this new more infectious strain.

France has stopped entry from UK completely via plane, boat, train or the tunnel. Loads of HGV drivers are stuck at the tunnel and can't get back home to France.

You can definitely still get to France. There’s direct flights to Paris and the ferries from Portsmouth are still accepting cars. There are also direct flights to Italy.

He replied in a comment on instagram that he had a flight to Venice that was cancelled. There’s another direct from London to Venice on Christmas Eve so if that doesn’t get cancelled he could still get there. Or there are other flights to other parts of Italy still on other days.

Sorry for the rambling. I like to find solutions for problems like this 😂
 
I wonder who's going get the ringers next year? I think they may give Giovanni a chance to win after his popularity 😍 and being in the final so many times. As well as Johannes, he is so likeable and had to put up with Caroline, deffo his turn! I'm not sure if Katya will? Considering she's won before and got the highest profile booking this year. I also can't see them giving Dianne another younger contestant considering she's had 3 in a row. Potentially Amy althought she had a top ringer last year, or dare I say it Neil 😬 I hope Gorka gets another go too but after Maisie and Alexandra, he maybe on duffer duty alongside Oti but I hope she stays and if they even try to bench Gorka hell will break loose. I don't think Luba or Nadiya will too, tall men always seem to be awkward 🙄 I also think Karen and Janette are done, in Janette's insta story yesterday, she was walking though elstree and seemed emotional, but I also think she's going to leaving every year too 😄

Karen's done really well despite her never having a proper ringer. She's well due for one and I'd love to see her win <3

No thanks to them pushing a Gio win - I've kinda had enough of him always getting the decent celebs, even Kevin had Susan & Anneka.

I don't think Katya's win will stop her - it was several years ago and I've noticed a pattern that a pro will get 3 years of duds/middlers after winning and will then get a ringer 4 years after (Pasha won with Caroline in 2014, 3 years of duds then Ashley in 2018, Aliona won with Harry in 2011 then got Jay in 2015 etc). By that logic, she'll get one next year.

Camilla Dallerup, Oti & Janette all got 5 young ones in a row and I reckon Dianne could be the same.

They never usually tend to give the male runner up pros to duds the following year - if there is a short female contender in the cast, then Gorka will more than likely be in luck again, especially with Kevin & AJ out.
 
I'm hoping Gorka gets a decent journey celeb next year - maybe a comedian or sportswoman. He hasn't really had a middler since his first year and it was a shame Tameka didn't go further than week 3

But saying that, if he's still the shortest male pro, then it's probably to come down to who is the shortest female celeb no matter how good or bad she is. I think he'd be great in a male same sex partnership but I think he might be a bit short if the male pro has to lead most of the dances

I love Johannes, but I don't think he's been great at showcasing his celebs. So therefore give him a mega-ringer, someone who he HAS to showcase and see what he does

Karen just needs someone she can do grown up dances with again. As much as I liked her and Jamie together, I'm a bit fed up of them giving her the comedy stuff

I get why Giovanni deserves a duffer, but I did miss his more creative choreography this year. I like him best when he's doing the fun, camp dances he did with Debbie. So just give him someone who can cope with party Latin next year pls

Dianne - just someone who suits her wholesome, cute, romantic vibe (I don't think this suited max much)

Katya - mega-ringer who can cope with anything she throws at them

Everyone else - don't really mind!
