The jive is really hard - I did tap, modern and jive until I was 11. Would like to see JJ give it a go

My tuppence worth! I think those that are left are pretty much on an even par except for JJ. That's not a criticism of him, he doesn't bother as much as some here. I'd be happy enough with any of them in the final. They all have strengths and weaknesses.
I feel for JJ, reading what he's been through and I'd say the level of pain meds he's on would have a massive effect on him. I wouldnt be hounding on him because they aren't giving him x or y dance. I doubt he'll win but I would say allowances would have to be made medically.

I get this and think what he is doing and having to go through is amazing. But I don't remember Johnny Peacock getting any pass like this. He made a big thing about not being judged by his disability and I seem to remember him getting criticism about some of his dances which couldn't be helped because of his disability. Unfortunately strictly have made JJ some sort of charity case and for the other dancers its not a fair competition. I would have thought he wouldn't want preferential treatment however perhaps he's just as ruthless and unlikeable as his partner.

I think this makes it worse - he's not that bothered! I think Amy's bothered enough for the both of them (and then some!)

I love Ranvir and Giovanni (so much chemistry!) and Bill and Oti (so much enthusiasm and joy!) the rest of that contestants - however good - are dull

I agree, I couldn’t see Nicola doing a salsa for example. She seemed very much in her own style. I know people liked her but she’s another one for me that all her dances (and even her costumes) looked the same.

Think there is a Christmas special this year because there was an advert on straight after the show of all the BBC Christmas shows and Strictly was one of them, along with Call the Midwife, Eastenders etc

If there is then that's changed very recently as there was an article the other day saying how bbc couldn't do a christmas special as well as the current series while being covid secure and that they will be doing a best of type of show.

I have a feeling I’ve seen a thing on FB or Insta to vote for top dances but I couldn’t be sure!
