ohh Alijax 😍 he is rather scrummy ...my husband and kids like to joke about me liking him..
im really glad Anton has someone who looks like they will be ok this year...i know it was hilarious him always being teamed up with the oldies but seriously come on the poor bloke had this year after year !
 
I find the show just too long at this stage, its too early to warm to anyone but there are that many couples by the time ive seen all the dances i have forgotten them all
I do think from last night both Neil and Johannes seemed to out dance their partners and make it more about them showing off their talents, some of the pros seem to be great at showing off the celebs talents or others like Kataya just want to do bizarre tricks.
 
Strictly was so cringey last night. Watched it because my daughter enjoys the dancing but it was bloody awful. If I hear Claudia say "And you work so hard!" one more time. I swear she has been saying that since 2014. Along with "look at your little face!" and "you are so busy, you have to get up so early". She clearly runs out of drivel to spout. Don't blame her really. She must be on autopilot. It is like a pantomime now and I can't stand it. Thank God for Giovanni. His face and body make it bearable.

It’s tricky for the pro to balance performing like they can and matching their partners levels.

I’d say Aljaz out danced his partner last week and really made her look poor and lacking in the performance. So I think all the pros can be guilty of it at times. Whether intentionally or not.

Katya is bleeping barmy, she keeps getting middle aged duffers and gets them to do some seriously big lifts with her and she barely gets away with not being dropped, she will run out of luck someday.

I’m not a fan of Katya at all BUT those lifts last night saw her do all the work and her core strength is impressive! Do you remember when Ed Balls almost dropped her off his shoulder a couple of years ago 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤣🤣🤣
 
Johannes definitely out danced his partner last night, I felt sorry for Catherine it was too complicated and I think she has potential.
Kataya put them lifts in because she knew it would grab the audiences attention as I am sure most watched to see if she would be dropped and sure enough there were a few moments when he was wobbling.

Yes I love Rylan too. Poor old Zoe seems quite quiet and deflated next to him. Early mornings for her tbf. I *think* I read/heard he was asked a few times to be a contestant but always said no - can't remember his reasons now.
I always love Giovanni's choreography and also Oti's. My mother who is awfully astute sometimes said re Neil 'but they are just standing in the same place - they need to move round the room' and when I watched it back she was right' - lots of dancing on the spot.
