Yes!! Like, okay I can understand season 1 and to be fair to Karen, she did TRY. But the rest of it.... like Barb gets exposed to dangerous chemicals and dies and Will is clearly going through whatever happened and Mike is clearly depressed and grieving and they're disappearing all the time and nobody even questions why they all seem a little too friendly with the police chief? Heaps of people died in a mall fire and these kids are still allowed to just.... disappear? Mike suddenly has a girlfriend that can't speak English very well and is living with Hopper and neither Karen or Ted think she looks suspiciously like the bald dangerous girl the GOVERNMENT was warning them about just a year before?

I mean... you're telling me that none of these parents have talked to the others and it's come out that "no, they weren't at my house that night?" Come on!
It was the 80s 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😆

I think a lot of parents were generally considerably less 'helicoptery' in the 80's 😂. I used to walk to school and back (with my friend), from year 4, in a pretty rough area of Manchester. I can't imagine that happens very often at all nowadays.

Anyway, been loving everyone's thoughts on this thread. I loved S4, it's been the best one for me since S1, and I cannot wait for 1st July. I've been rewatching the whole thing again while I wait and have just started S3.

Highlight of S4 for me was the Running Up That Hill scene which I think is just a perfect piece of television/drama. I was literally on the edge of my seat for that whole scene. Loving the old school 80s horror film vibes of the whole thing. I have my favourites but I'm not overly concerned about anyone getting killed off if it serves the plot, as I don't like it in any show when characters survive impossible scenarios because of fan service. I like my shows to have the balls to kill people off and move on their plot lines 😆.

Im currently watching series 3 and its the most boring so far:sleep: not loving the girl who works with Steve in the ice cream shop.

I've just started rewatching series 3, and I forgot how bloody unbearable Mike and Eleven are together. Mike can die too. Eleven can't as Hopper can't lose another daughter and I like their relationship.
I really like Robin though and season 3 has more Erica!

Ooof. I love Mike and El together. They are endgame imo.

Hopper in season 3 is unbearable. Made me enjoy his arc in season 4 a lot more though.
