I don’t know about you guys but I always used to be quite envious of the life of a socialite, especially when MIC first came out. The lavish parties, weddings, holidays etc etc…. But since realising that most (if not all) of their lives has a very dark side to it… the alcohol and drug addictions, the constant cheating and affairs etc…. I’m so glad I’m not a part of that world 😅 more money more problems!

I couldn’t get into MIC at first because I didn’t understand why if these people were so rich they needed to go on a reality tv show but now I see it was probably to fund their coke habits, so they didn’t have to use mummy and daddy’s money for that 🤣
 
It feels strange no one’s talking about it and the press haven’t picked it up. I’ve searched her name on Twitter and no one has posted anything, same on tiktok. I’m fairly certain they’ve blocked some words out on their comments because surely someone’s asked?

Not sure if you've been on the Newlyweds IG, but some woman kept posting the same comment on at least three different posts, which said that there was speculation Sophie had cheated and that they were working on their marriage, hence why she's disappeared. She added that the rumour was being circulated by people in their close social circles. This was before someone else posted on here saying that someone from the MiC crew had been spreading the speculation, so it the IG poster seems to have gotten the juice from elsewhere, rather than Tattle🤔

It's also a bit odd that Jamie hasn't deleted the person's speculation from the comments!

I had seen those and it’s really strange they replied rather than deleted them. I do wonder if the rumours stemmed from those comments though, like someone saw those and then posted here rather than anyone having actual proof
 
Honestly the theory that she has a coke addiction is in no way surprising to me. It is so vastly prevalent but especially in the "socialite" circles. I'd in no way be surprised if she's grown a dependency to it for all manner of reasons - to stay slim/to mask unhappiness etc. I think it's more rare for someone in the upper classes to NOT have a coke problem.

It wouldn't surprise me if she cheated before the wedding and Jamie found out/she confessed and has blamed the coke habit and he's told her the only way to save their marriage is for her to get clean. A cushty couple of weeks in a "facility" which is basically a glorified spa and now she'll be going cold turkey from everything. I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure she would have been told to avoid everything - alcohol, cigarettes etc.

Looking at the few photos of her from her sisters wedding, something seems off. I'm getting a "everyone keep an eye on Sophie" vibe.

From what I remember, the rumour first cropped up in the MiC Tattle thread quite a few weeks ago, weeks before the Instagram comments appeared. The IG comments were the first to reference someone from their close social circle spreading the speculation. Then after that, another person on Tattle said their friend worked at Sophie's PR agency and told them about the alleged rehab and cheating, and it being spread by an MiC cast member. It's basically a multitude of different people saying similar things and then new details being added, and then being made more specific by another source🥴
 
Sophie’s stories are all over the place. She just reposts random things from different timelines. One minute it’s a repost from Georgia’s wedding, the next it’s a magazine piece for hers and Jamie’s wedding…. Then a post of her being randomly signed to a new agency. Like she can’t even be arsed to do her ‘influencer’ job properly. Just a quick repost and she’s done. Not even a caption or explanation from her. Such a princess.
