Is there any truth to the rehab rumour too?
 
Honestly I do not feel bad for Jamie of this is true. Like it must be horrible but there is such a manipulative side to him and a really hateful energy with women when he gets rejected. I was rewatching the Golden era drama the other day during series 3 when he finds out about the whole Louise and Spencer thing. The way he called Louise weak and pathetic for cheating/ is horrible to her for months afterwards but then quickly forgives Spencer is just so spineless. Same with how he drags Lucy along and manipulates and gaslights her and when confronted by Spencer about his feelings for Lucy he again acts so damn spineless.

I bet if Sophie cheats he will do anything to demonize the person she cheated with but be absolutely spineless with her.

I also think she will always look back at her wedding photos to Judge Rinder knowing she was coked out of her eyeballs. I have zero sympathy for her, I don’t care if that sounds cruel. She’s a vile person and I think alot of her problems are down to her pretending she isn’t who she really is. She’s from Iraq and lived in leamington spa - there’s nothing wrong with that - she’s not a bonafide skeletal Chelsea Sophie, drop the act it’s clearly killing you.

Harvey has since come out and said Habbs and be were still together when she basically said she wanted to go on the show, but would need to pretend to be single. She was going on dates and stuff (this could very well have been with Sam), and basically picked the show over Harvey. I can’t remember where he said it - it was on a podcast. He didn’t explicitly mention Habbs but it was obvious he meant her.

I think it was more the case that she was still seeing Harvey at that time than him being her ex tbh. She desperately wanted to be famous/an influencer and was willing to do whatever to get there I reckon. I think that’s why her behaviour with Emily was off. She didn’t really want to dump Harvey, but the show prefers single people dating, that was her only entry onto it.
 
I see her as a coke user, absolutely… but enough to go to rehab? That feels… a bit much.
With regards to her cheating, stupid people do stupid things all the time so we can’t rule it out. Everyone has that *one* ex and considering how weird she got about Emily, it would check out!
 
They seem like a pretty toxic combinatuon, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the rumours were true at all.

the reason Jamie is intoxicated by her is because he’s addicted to the thrill of the chase, like many a misogynist with mummy issues before him. He switches off when a woman actually starts to develop feelings for him in return. The reason it’s lasted with Habbs is because she has zero real interest in him romantically and never will, but she was desperate for the “fame” and exposure (and money?) she got by dating/marrying Jamie.

she has stuck with him no matter what because of what she gets in return. It’s a total self betrayal, but then she’s pretending to be someone she isn’t anyway so her whole life is defined by self betrayal.

this is what happen when you pursue and prioritise shallow appearances and material stuff - an absolute dumpster fire of a relationship, a pretentious wedding and an escalating coke problem.

she should’ve stayed with Harvey (if he was someone she genuinely loved). She’d maybe have been in a less lucrative/famous job, maybe a bit more sedate. But I’d bet she’d have been happier.

any unfinished business she had with Harvey probably stems from the fact he was the last relationship she pursued based on mutual attraction as opposed to what she could get out of it. It’s probably not even about him, it’s about going back to something that wasn’t completely false

Jamie is a complete knob. He and Spencer were unutterably rude to my friend when she did PR for a charity event they attended. He can be vivacious and friendly when it suits him (i.e when he's getting paid for it) but he strikes me as someone you wouldn't want to approach on the street.

With Sophie, I think it's always been about visuals for him. Let's face it, every woman he's dated has been bang out of his league, and he obviously thought he struck gold with her. He's like a lovesick puppy with her. Obviously he's keen to save face ATM. Imagine the abject humiliation of calling things off with her after that ridiculously elaborate wedding.

Re the coke - just look at Liv. She was always a casual user, but seems to have spiralled out of control recently. She's looking and acting completely unhinged ATM, and worryingly emaciated. Like any addiction, once they get hooked on the highs and exhilarating thrill of rapid weight loss, it's an easy cycle to get lost in.

I don't think Sophie is pregnant. I don't think she'd be going around in a bikini in her sister's pre-wedding pics if she was. If we're going with the rehab theory, I definitely think she's just gone completely clean, no alcohol included. Someone also mentioned that she looks less emaciated than her usual self, which I agree with.
