How abusive to cry over that as well. Oh definitely, this is just what she’s willing to show us. I know Jamie just takes it all as he seems like a genuine guy who is so in love with her for some reason which is quite sad. He must get it all during her come downs

She's definitely showing undercurrents of a nasty streak through how she speaks to him on the podcast. I would never dream of saying half the tit she says to him to my partner. The fact Jamie laughs it off and doesn't recognise she's being horrible is worrying, and like you say, I dread to think how she speaks to him off air.
 
Just finished this thread, only recently started listening to their podcast, I'm up to the Whitehalls episode.

My conclusion is that she's his sugar baby, obviously they get on well, she obviously doesn't fancy him physically but is keen on the lifestyle he offers her. She's not as ditsy as she is pretending to be, I guess Jamie likes to be the smart one and she lets him.

I am utterly perplexed about why they talk about excrement so often, almost every episode so far. Why????
 
Someone posted a while back that Sophie was not a pleasant person (from Uni days) I think. No idea if this is accurate, but certainly doesn't seem far fetched.

I don't listen to their podcast. I've heard bits & pieces of it here.

It's disconcerting they think talking about poop is entertainment. Maybe they are going for the Shock Factor?

Either way, I wouldn't support anyone using this as a means to make $$$$.

She probably can be very bitchy but I would wager Jamie is a mean girl in a man's body too he just plays the likeable jester in public as he needs to be liked by everybody he encounters irrespective of how he feels about these people and even whether he'll ever see them again - they're both (imo) deeply insecure and are suited to each other in that bitchy mean girl aspect of their personalities.

Am i loosing it, or is her Dad a fairly attractive guy?! Low key shocked as Jamie isn't conventionally attractive and it's always said girls go for men a bit like their Dad. Jamie is wealthy though... maybe that's the stronger allure.

Yeah, I agree Jamie is arrogant and can be quite unpleasant (as a friend of mine experienced when she did a work event with him and Spencer). But it's definitely not an excuse for the way she talks to him. The fact she routinely belittles and emasculates him on the podcast and he's laughing his head off about it is alarming. But I guess he's willing to put up with it as long as it means having what he regards as someone way out of his league on his arm.

Sophie's loving every minute of the fame and career-giving opportunities that their marriage is providing. She was giddy af when they interviewed Hugh Grant at the Willy Wonka premiere, and fancying herself as the next Cat Deeley. This marriage is dysfunctional af. Maybe Jamie will realise that at some point during this therapy journey of his.

Don’t know why she’s so up her self as all she talks about is tit and Jamie’s ass on the podcast

Exactly my thoughts. Beats me! They interviewed Chalamet too. Maybe their PR company wrangled their way in. She was in her element when she spoke to Hugh Grant, like a giddy schoolgirl. She's so fake it's ridiculous.

I've never rated her but that clip and has truly cemented what an unpleasant person she is. She milked the anxiety card but that's all been swiftly forgotten about. Remember how much she preached about the importance of getting help the other month, when she explained the reason behind her sudden "disappearance". And now she's taking the piss out of her own husband for getting help. Grim.

Had they remained friends & started the podcast, maybe it would seem more genuine?

Being married seems a bit scripted and forced, as though they needed the marriage for other perks...

I don't see their union being long term. As for their podcast, I'd guess it will eventually have a shi^t ending, no pun intended.

God, her voice goes through my head like a meat grinder in this video. "Mr Timothee Chala-mayyyyy everyone". She's so awkward. At least Jamie's naturally confident when he interviews people. She just acts like a giggly, socially awkward schoolgirl. Probably thinks Timothee and Hugh Grant fancy her, like when she pretended she met Bradley Cooper and he chatted her up🤣

I looked up Spencer's height after Jamie's (5'7 but who knows more likely 5'6) and allegedly he is 5'11 and his wife Vogue is 5'10 but amazingly she is taller than him, just as Sophie is at 5'5. Amazing...

Jamie mentions (On the pod) ruining his feet by wearing lifts in his shoes and from wearing heeled boots (maybe at the same time?) Ouch. I know there is a leg lengthening surgery where (some) men have gotten as much as 6 extra inches in height. Maybe that's next?

Her dress is great here, aside from the sunglasses it's a fantastic look for a registry office wedding.
I know I'm late to the show here, but I didnt even know they'd actually gotten married!

Continuing listening to the pod and poo is still being mentioned with alarming frequency for a show all about love and the practicalities and pitfalls of planning a wedding.

She looked amazing but I hated how on the podcast she was saying Jamie was silly for thinking she would be in a full wedding dress for a registry office because apparently you can’t do that. A lot of people only get one wedding and that might be the registry office one if that’s all they can afford, let’s not criticise women for still wanting to wear a full gown 😢

Just another example of wear she doesn’t think of her privilege before she speaks, I wish she’d educate herself a little bit more on what it’s like to be working class.

I never knew their heights, just assumed they were tall as they look it on screen. A friend of mine also commented on how tall they were when he saw them in Notting Hill. He must have been on crack as I'm taller than the pair of them😂I guess skinniness gives the illusion of height.

I am guessing Sophie is about 5'8 if she's taller than Jamie which tbf is tall for a girl. Jamie and the mic men are all just a bit short. They all also have short man syndrome, take the way they treat women for a start.
