It's always really loaded from her though, and goes beyond jesting to barbed put-downs. Feels uncomfortable at times. It's clear her irritation towards him digs really deep, but he's too hyper and stupid to realise it. I would never dream of saying stuff like "your breath stinks of sh!t" and "your taste in food is sh!t" to my partner on our podcast.

yeh the resentment goes deep with Sophie. I’d never dream of talking to my partner like that in private, never mind on a podcast. Jamie isn’t much nicer to her, he’s just a lot more subtle about it. Like, he doesn’t make barbed jokes at her expense, but he’ll shame her and catch her off guard in the podcast.

I haven't listened to their podcast, although I've watched a few clips of it posted here.

Makes me wonder if their marriage is simply an arrangement for business purposes.
I've never thought they had a genuine relationship. Probably why they can throw insults around so easily & not care.

It has to be, surely. He's got his trophy wife and she has the podcast career, plus endless IG sponsored posts. Imagine a world where they broke up and how much it would kill her job prospects🥲I also didn't realise until today that Jamie owns their current abode, after watching an older MiC episode. Sophie revealed that he was selling his old flat to buy their current place. Not a bad pad either, by the looks of it🙃

So in the episode I watched, they were viewing the flat they currently live in. Sophie commented to Emily how excited she was about moving in and the fact Jamie was selling his (then) current flat to fund it🥴

Isn’t it because they’re looking for a house but haven’t settled on one yet? I’m sure there were podcast episodes about how fussy they are when choosing one
 
Eek, quite an awkward pod with Helen, I’ve stopped listening just over half way. Feel like she doesn’t have time for them at all.

Painful listening to how clueless Sophie and Jamie are, I feel like it would make it 10x better if Jamie actually just shut up and let Helen speak

I've only seen the Instagram clip and that's cringe enough...Jamie asks this Helen woman a perfectly logical question: "what's the best sex position for conceiving?", then Sophie gets all giddy and weird and apologises to Helen, telling her she doesn't have to answer. What an embarrassing display from a 29 year old. Why is so always so ashamed around the topic of sex?

No it was one where she was standing a certain way. He thought to try and hide any slight early roundness but who knows?
