I'm unsure, despite my comments and seemingly naivety, coke addiction is something I'm well aware of and have seen very close people go through. I definitely knew when they had been on an all night bender or even when they'd come into work after snorting a few lines. I appreciate make up and hair do a lot and pictures can hide a lot of things so maybe it is true but like you and a few others are sure it's true, I'm just not 😂 I can't put my finger on it hahahaha

Weren't they both wearing sunglasses in miserable weather for the first wedding?

I lean more towards drugs just because she's married to Jamie, and his past isn't so squeaky clean.

Yeah they were but not at the very beginning. When they went outside and the photoshoot outside they were so I guess there's a potential there to hide the tired eyes and maybe Jamie was supporting her by making it a quirky thing to do?

If you've been on an all night coke bender, your eyes are going to be wide, tired, bloodshot and hurt in the light. Using the word 'tired' was easier than listing all the adjectives to describe coke eyes. Point of my comment was agreeing that the sunglasses were potentially hiding that if what the other person said is true.

Let's not forget Sophie's weirdo move of wearing sunglasses during two podcast episodes...

Honest to Christ, if this whole Habbs debacle means her never doing another podcast ever again, I will praise God/Allah/the many Hindu gods and their many limbs.

😂😂this made me laugh. I actually like their podcast and I've come to really like Jamie since hearing him a few times on Radio 1 with Matt Edmondson, I find him funny! You're right though, the sunglasses in odd settings are normally a tell tale sign of some form of drug/drink abuse (of course not always but sometimes)

Tbf, he has a unique ability to connect and get good info from guests of the strangest calibre, including Katie Price. All I could think when Sophie donned the sunglasses was "how rude and extremely awkward". Maybe I'm pernickety but it's not professional behaviour. Imagine turning up to your job wearing sunglasses like it's the most normal thing in the world🥴

You don’t have to be smashing an 8ball a day to have a problem with coke that needs addressing. Not all people who abuse substances use every day or appear particularly strung out. Some people abuse cocaine in a way that where most of their mates can share a bag or two, and enjoy a night, once they have a line they’ll be in for 3 bags and a night that turns into a next day with no real ability or desire to know when to pack it up. Maybe that’s her. Maybe she and Jamie have identified an unhealthy use of drugs they’d like to have addressed before starting a family.

Staying awake for a whole night, even if it is before your wedding, is hardly a bender either. I did that in my twenties soooo many times? Gets to 4am, realise you’ve gotta be up in 3 hours, if you sleep you’ll feel like tit, so you just buy another bag and carry on. Like it’s not something to be proud of, but the casualness of drug use amongst SO much of the world in that age group seems to be being wilfully ignored in this thread. Maybe it’s not the same elsewhere, but in Aus there’s a pretty common little saying that “growing up is realising everybody does coke and that cheese is really expensive”. To me it’s like she’s rich, skinny af, doesn’t have a job she’s gotta show up to every day, and has now gone MIA. Of course she’s on rehab 😂
 
I think the issue is that nobody thinks she’s ‘cool’ any more after marrying Jamie. I mean, I never idolised her but she is pretty and she had quite a glam life going to spas etc and promoting cool products. Now she’s just associated with a balding loser talking about poo 😂 and she’s such a social climber that she’ll really hate that. He’s kind of too embarrassing for them to be a power couple

That's so sad. I hope she's able to pull through and leave Jamie. She can make a clean break, and be a lot happier if she is true to herself. The whole fame, $$$$ situation will never give her authentic happiness. Wonder if anyone in her family attempted to stop the wedding? Her Mum seemed genuinely pleased with Jamie, but things could very well be different behind the scenes.

ETA Not sure Jamie is really in love with Sophie, or has ever been in love with his many ex GFs. He seems too wrapped up into himself, unable to genuinely care about other people. Certainly not showing himself to be a loving person; someone who should be protecting Sophie, not flaunting her downfalls on social media, as if her bad life choices are entertainment.

The only thing I can think of is she's tit-scared of losing sponsorships and brand deals (e.g. Debenhams, Coast and Eucerin). She'd be dropped like a hot potato if all this turned out to be true and got out publicly.

Omg if she’s already regretting the marriage that’s pretty awful 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’ve listened to a few episodes and I remember she was really stressed before the wedding having loads of anxiety, maybe that’s why?!

imagine having a big podcast that runs up to the wedding and then divorcing within a year… I swear some influencers get engaged/married/have children just for content, it’s ridiculous
 
I feel for her in the sense that it’s awful to regret getting married at any stage after you’ve spent so much money and got all your friends and family invested however these two, especially Sophie,
have basically made their entire public careers centred on being a couple and getting married. If you didn’t watch MIC you wouldn’t have even known who she was before the podcast but then suddenly she was everywhere. How do you back out when you’re in that situation?! It reminds me of Diana saying she had to marry Charles because “the teatowels are already printed” 😬🤣
