Snowy Christmas 2025 - holiday tips/ideas?

Possibly a niche request but my husband is 50 on Boxing Day 2025. He’d like to wake up somewhere snowy but we do not ski so these resorts are out. Anyone got any other suggestions? I think realistically my options are Lapland or Iceland. Our daughter will be 13 so is Lapland too childish for her? She’s very much passed elves etc (sadly). Open to all ideas. I think my limit on money would be £5000 for us all.
 
What about Tromso in Norway? This is on my list. It's one of the best places to see the northern lights. There husky sledding and reindeer farms. I think you can stay in a glass igloo there as well. I know someone who went a few months ago they went to Oslo, Tromso and Copenhagen.

Tromso is fantastic. We went there a couple of years ago and it’s a great little town. Definitely recommend it.

We’ve booked a few trips to Sweden, Norway and Iceland through Baltic Travel Company. You can do long weekends with a variety of activities - we’ve been husky sledding, skidooing at night, Northern Lights watching etc.
