I've binged the whole 3rd series. It's awesome!

I know!!! It's just so fabulous! I can't believe how utterly invested I am . I really want to talk in more detail but I don't want to be the one who puts spoilers on here

I loved Unorthodox! Shira Haas is great, I’m going to give this a watch.

Right, so I've watched it all and I've literally never cried so much at a series. I thought my heart would break over Libbi, the tension between Kive and Shulem, the fear of mental health issues, Ruchami so desperate for a baby, Giti vs Lippe and then Giti vs Yo'se'le... my goodness that last scene . Such beautiful writing, wonderful actors and sensitive topics portrayed. THE best series I've watched on Netflix by far.

Just finished it. Absolutely amazing brilliant actors writers. It has everything and shed quite a few tears too but there is also laughter.
@Marmaladethecat I agree it’s the best show I have watched in a long long time.
I’m going to miss it now. I hope they do another series.

I’ve watched all 3 seasons and loved it. It’s slow paced but still totally compelling which is testament to the writing and acting. I did enjoy Unorthodox - Shira Haas and the actor who played her husband were fantastic - but I prefer Shtisel. It’s much more balanced and doesn’t ‘other’ Hasidic Jews as if they’re a different species. It’s really beautifully done imo.
