Sherlock

Loved it but then the nonsense of Mary (super agent) and farcical ending, lost credibility for me.
That's the problem with the BBC - great shows/stories - become popular and then they milk it until the original and unique concept is ruined.
Would happily watch the first few series again though, just not the last

Watching it again I really feel like it jumped the shark at the start of the third series. But what a cast. Benedict Cumberbatch is just so great in that role, Sherlock himself is a bit of a prick, but he‘s so watchable! I’d forgotten how dark it gets at some points, but so many funny lines too.
It just blows my mind that these characters from almost 150 years ago are still so popular today!

The first two seasons are brilliant, especially a study in pink, a scandal in Belgravia and of course the Reichenbach Fall.
Season 3 was a bit of a let down but I still enjoyed it (except for Mary, never liked her) and I’m not going to talk about Season 4. Not even sure what went wrong there ...

The first two series were masterpieces.

S3 was, with hindsight, pretty bad (although I enjoyed it at the time) and S4 was dogshit. So bad, it kind of ruined the whole thing for me and I’ve never had any desire to rewatch the good episodes 😄
