Watched the first episode last night. Loving it so far. For some reason with it being on Disney plus,I thought it would be pretty sanitised. Wrong!!
Check out "Sid and Nancy" with Gary Oldman if you haven't seen it 
Very strange though that they never spoke to John Lydon re the series.

Watched a couple of episodes last night. It’s not bad so far.
Loved “Sid and Nancy”. Gary Oldman is just perfect.

Lydon didn't wan't to allow their music to be used for the tv series and went to Court, but the band had a previous agreement that a majority of band members would be needed in any vote to allow their music to be used, so essentially John was outvoted but went to Court anyway and lost.
Not sure why he objected as they will surely earn a few quid from the tv show.

I love John as an artist, he can be quite strange at times though and he has a lot on his plate with his wife's Alzheimers, might have had a bearing on his thinking, who knows.

I was lucky to see Sex Pistols on their 'Filthy Lucre' tour in the 1990's and they were absolutely great, it's a real shame that there is division among them now.
Sky Arts tv channel sometimes show their "There'll Always be an England" gig from Brixton Academy in 2007 which is pretty good. John plays up a bit though during the gig

Started this last night now I know nothing whatsoever about the sex pistols and found the first episode a bit of a slow burner, but I really enjoyed it and ended up watching three episodes of it.
