My favourite episodes/scenes are:

-The one where they take the train to Carries book signing, and they're both horrified by the shower toilet. Also chuckled at Carrie trying to cover up her spot with blusher 'I look like I'm in a high school play!'.
-The episode where Carrie sees Big on a boat. I just absolutely love the dress and medallion she's wearing.
-The episode before someones wedding (Charlotte and Harry?) and Carrie has injured her neck from awful sex the night before and can't move.
-The episode where Carrie goes with Aiden to the furniture show and Big shows up drunk.

I think these are all seasons 3-4? It definitely got more cartoonish as it went along. I really love the earlier seasons. I liked the first film initially, but on rewatch it's pretty bad. The second film, as others have said, is pure trash.

Yes that is true, SJP should be breathing a sigh of relief he is back, I predict a divorce and carrie back at her old apartment because NY will always be her one true love 😴🤮🙄
Haha yes something like this. I bet she divorces him because he didnt buy her expensive jewelry when that's what she wanted, and he should KNOW what she wants if he loves her.🤣

and no job but living off her pre-nup money as she quit her job to move to paris, I guess just her and charlotte wandering around NY having brunch?
God that sounds dull as Hell

The first episode you mention is in the final series I think?

My fave episode is the one where Carrie is a model for the New York Style fashion show.

it's a great episode, i love all the outfits they're wearing in this one - so 90's! Charlotte: "she stole my baby name!" Samantha: "you witch!" 😅
and when they enter and the pregnant one says she can eat whatever she wants "jealous" and samantha replies by handing her a bottle of alcohol "jealous?"
That episode kind of didn't make sense though, I had always assumed they had met as adults as they seemed to be from different places but from that episode it implies they knew each other as children

Samantha is me at a baby shower tbh 🙃

Is that the episode where Samantha turns up with alcohol and says "the invitation says BYOB" and they are like "that's bring your own baby" :ROFLMAO:

Samantha is me at a baby shower tbh 🙃

Same 😂

Jennifer Anniston made a really good point on the Friends reunion when she said to do a new episode or movie would mean ruining their happy endings. That’s exactly what Sex and The City keeps doing. They all had what they wanted at the end of the TV show, never mind the movies. Do we really need to see Carrie and Big nearly split up again?

I used to love the series. I think since the 2nd movie jumped the shark so much, they should just make a 3rd movie and really go all out.
They could have Michael Bay directing it and make it a disaster movie. Or set it in the Marvel Universe and have The Hulk smashing tit up in the background while they’re out for brunch. Would still be more realistic than Sex And The City 2.

Does anyone know why they aren’t calling the new show SATC?

Maybe they think it's too different to the original? Like as in the stage of life they are in, all married rather than dating a lot of people? It seems like they are going for more of a friendship focus.

Also Samantha brought the most sex to it and she's gone. 😂 She should have been the sex columnist, Carrie could seem a bit weird about it sometimes.

My thought it was licensing reasons. But maybe this! You’re right, it’s unlikely they’ll have sex scenes.
Or if it bombs they can just disassociate it with the original show. Like how Friends fans can just pretend the joey spinoff never happened☺️
