I’ve just finished rewatching it all (for the first time since it was on originally).
It’s a bit cringe in places and inappropriate (of its time I guess) but my gosh it was amazing compared to AJLT. I’m so cross how all the characters were ruined

IMO Michael Patrick King is the biggest issue, it started to go downhill when Darren Starr left and it slowly became a different show…the characters became caricatures. The movies were even worse and I don’t blame Kim Cattrall for refusing to come back.

He really seems to think AJLT is great work and just misunderstood 😬…the best thing they could do for AJLT is bin him and all the writers and start afresh.

Didn’t he of one of the cast suggest that Che’s unpopularity was ignorance??
MPK loves himself so much he can’t comprehend its just a crappy show?

The best thing they could do was go back to the first episode and have Big emerging from his post-Peleton shower in the style of Dallas
 
Can’t work out what she’s trying to say here? Is it racial, anti trans? Anti gay? Either way it’s remarkable how her character seems to be just like her real self. Can see Che saying ALL of this.

I'm sorry, nobody should be harassed etc but I'm sitting here smirking because somehow it's hilarious to me that Sara deliberately doesn't mention the gender of the umbrella and glasses patron. I think you're safe enough in describing them as either a man or a woman Sara!
