Surely this has to compete! Also, see Miranda’s strange hat 😂

The above is one of my least favourites, struggling to get a good image of it but it's the white jacket with mad shoulder pads, a mini kilt, white stilettoes and some kind of sparkly, flesh-toned pop sock combination. Woeful. My favourite of hers, that I can't find any image of, is the John Galliano (I think?) checked dress she wears in one of the book readings in San Francisco. I also love the a-line skirt and duster coat she's in when she takes the mulberry bush to Scout.

I don’t like Carrie’s styling at all during the period of time/season she gets back with Aiden, I hated the straight overly long hair on her. My favourite era of her style was between her dating the politician and getting with Aiden for the first time, I loved the soft ringletty curls, gold hoops and slightly clashy prints & textures.

Something I really dislike about the films and then AJLT is how designer they’ve made every single thing she wears at all times. Carrie always loved designers yes but she also loved vintage and thrifting. Apart from spending hundreds of dollars on shoes she pretty much dressed like a normal person, now she’s like a caricature of herself coz they have a massive budget or whatever.

Yep, I also loved that era, and liked some of the latter season looks although I wasn't a fan of the visible bra strap under backless dress thing she repeatedly did. AJLT is lacking Pat Field's more off-kilter looks for her - as Carrie herself says, she was always searching for the perfect $5 dress to go with her $500 shoes! (Not that you were buying vintage dresses for $5 anywhere in Manhattan in that era...) Also, Carrie could have totally gotten away with a 'Hang in there, baby!' halter top. ;)

I'm not sure why I waited to watch the last few episodes, I was treating it like a show that was worthy of dedicating my full attention to 🤪

Was like the end of a daytime soap opera. I liked Samantha popping up, even if the scene wasn't particularly good. I'd fully support her turning up for a remote cameo in every episode (if they ever do make any more) on equal pay.

The only other highlight was Harry traumatised with hearing about Anthony's sex dilemmas.

I hope the strikes finish the show for good. It was never going to end at one series as all involved wouldn't want to be associated with that on their record, but it's time to go.
