The Russian made Carrie seem so unsophisticated and childish. Isn’t she 38 when she’s dating him? I’m 35 and to me she acts like a teenager, I can’t imagine what a cool, worldly European older artist would see in her, all his friends/family we see obviously think she’s cracked as well. The bit where she faints at the opera and makes him go to McDonald’s is pure cringe. I’m not saying the Russian was a good dude at all but I actually think he was always honest with Carrie about himself, and he was very fair talking about her desire for kids, his approach to relationships etc. She acts out constantly as is clearly out of her depth with him. Like even the way she does that rude “wrong number/I can’t understand your accent” thing when he calls her first!? What adult does that!?

Oh the fainting over the romance was ridiculous!! I can barely watch that bit (although she looks amazing in that dress!!)

In my top 3 hateful Carrie moments:

1) Hollywood faint with closing of eyelids and ladylike slide to the ground.
2) Lifting of leg when she kisses Big when they get married.
3) Constant screaming when it rains outside the museum.

The stupid, soft melt.
 
Enduring crush on Baryshnikov aside - he treated her like an unsophisticated sugar baby. He set the late date in the Russian restaurant, made her Russian tea she didn’t like, he chose her food, he bought her clothes, he gave her a coffee machine, cooked her pancakes, dictated all the terms, paid for her apartment so she could go to Paris.

Yes that was awful!
I miss when the everyoutfitonsatc insta page actually posted the outfits, now they’re just promoting their podcast

these 2 have to be the worst (didn't include AJLT or the films because I like to pretend they don't exist) the one on the left would be nice if she lost the belt and the headpiece but the one on the right... there is no redemption 😶
