I only hate watch AJLT..... but I have to confess....I got so teary when Aiden and Carrie hugged.....but think it was more from reminiscing about when I was younger and used to watch SATC obsessively......was sorta like meeting an old friend myself.......

I agree, I got very nostalgic seeing Aiden and Carrie together. I always wanted a boyfriend like Aiden when I originally watched. He adored her back in the day and she shat on him....twice!! I'm more stunned that he would want to give it another go with this egotistical harridan.

I was exactly the same. had a tear in my eye when they hugged. Otherwise the series is tit.. I don't know where this Aidan story line is going to go.
 
I want to love AJLT but its made so many errors. Like someone said above its a hate love watch thing. So many memories from SATC makes us want to love it but we cant quite do it. Im watching it for about the 4th tome and only now, in my 40s does it make sense.
Also- random- i never got the Bitsy thing and reference from AJLT an episode or 2 back till i saw her wedding again to Bobby and then it made sense!!!
 
The continuity errors are just beyond ridiculous in this show. I know it's maybe not the main thing to focus on but I'm just finding them annoying as crap. LTW's and Harry's are-they-dead-or-not-and-if-so-when? parents. Both Lily and Brady seem like they should be 2 years older than they're being portrayed. Where the hell is the child from Bitsy's never-again-mentioned, miracle pregnancy?
Also, sorry, it is just not believable that Rock would be scouted as a model, they're tiny and a completely unremarkable looking, normal teen.

Will Ralph Lauren have paid for the mentions? Or did they just use the name without any sign off?

Their store isn't non binary with everything under girls or boys. I'm surprised they wanted to model for them and not a brand that does genderless clothes.
 
I feel like I say the same thing every week but….
There are so many pointless characters and too many plot points going on (all unrelated and boring) in every episode to make it a good show. The writing is thin but the last few episodes have felt more like SATC, which I guess is due to direction from Cynthia Nixon.

- keep Seema and Nya and get rid of all other new characters
- give Anthony more screen time, preferably with Charlotte so she can actually have some decent / worthwhile storylines!
- same as above, re Harry - give him some credible storylines instead of just having him as filler
- same for Brady really! He should have more of a presence, considering he’s going through a lot (or so we’re meant to believe)

Feels like although season 1 was CRAP, there is more of a flow to season 2, and they need to build on that to make it actually good.
 
Aiden being a little baby witch about the apartment, if you aren’t over it after both of you married others, your kids, her husband dying and a whole 20 odd years? Piss off. I really liked him first time round but he needs to build a bridge and all that.

I’m glad they glammed Miranda up but I’m not buying the bi Miranda. Over Charlotte and her over acting, her kids are universally awful.

To be fair, as you get older, 20 years doesn't seem like that long! She really fucked him over
