Here are my opinions (because I know you all care) BUT

1. Seema was probably the best thing to happen to this series. She has spark whereas the others are just flat 2D rubbish versions of their 1999 selves

2. More Anthony & Seema. More Seema & Antoine Lavaux from Emily in Paris please

3. This show can survive if it really zones in on Carrie; ghat sounds like an oxymoron but she’s got two romances in train here; Podcast Man and Teacher of the Year. This could be enough to provide proper dramatic narrative and characters we can root for.

4. Whoever does continuity on that programme needs to be first against the wall, it was absolutely shocking

5. Cynthia Nixon needs to decide whether she’s happy to let her platforming go for the sake of Miranda actually being Miranda again… that bathroom scene, the levels of twit behaviour she was displaying are synonymous with Carrie (Charlotte and the loan), not Miranda. Gay or not, Miranda needs to be Miranda again.

6. Rock is a brat. Either provide more interesting storylines in this field or cancel her/him/they

7. do we care enough to hope for an expansion of Lisa Todd Wexley’s life in S2? Maybe - but she has to hard link to Charlotte somehow.

8. Don’t bring back Kim Cattrall. Not only does she not deserve the autumn of her career to be shackled to this tit show but it has managed to move on without her. It would be another random handbrake turn that’d mess things up.

9. More fashion stuff… not bleeping insane orange dresses, more magazine stuff, assignments from her agent, whatever. That’s interesting and SJP needs to have more “missions” in the “I couldn’t help but wonder….” vein.

10. if they don’t fully “bury” Big then I think there’s a place for Natasha potentially. The execution of the storyline around him leaving her money in his will was awful… so so awful, and to squander it like that was shameful. Maybe S2 could put that right?

I know we're all loving Seema but in a sense her character is as badly drawn as Che's: why does she have to mention smoking every 5 seconds?! She has a cigarette in her hand at all times but still 50% of her dialogue also revolves around smoking 🤯, just like how Che's entire personality is her sexuality and gender identity (oh and how could I forget her ethnicity 🇲🇽 🇮🇪).
Charlotte's pink dress was a travesty: unflattering in colour, fit, fabric... ghastly. I actually think it was worse than the Mr Kipling Halloween edition neon meringue situation that was wearing Carrie on the bridge.
All in all it was a shocker of a series, and none of it in the positive sense.

I really struggled with the smoking and how many characters were doing it: Carrie, Seema, Jackie, it’s as if vaping never happened in this universe. I don’t know any one of that age who still smokes, the health concerns are too great particularly in your 50s when people around you start to have real health issues. So what are they trying to say about the characters by putting cigarettes in their hands? Nobody thinks smoking is glamorous any more, it just reeks (literally) of bad judgement, ignorance and/ or addiction, none of which are appealing character traits.

Seema was ok I guess, but I agree totally one-dimensional - all she did was smoke, wear mind-bogglingly expensive and impractical clothes and get in and out of limos. It’s not a realistic portrayal of a working life in New York at all - you’re a realtor not a rockstar, take a taxi like everyone else.

And yes, Charlotte’s dress was appalling - awful colour, style, it looked unironed, the fit across the bust managed to pull and gape at the same time… distractingly bad. I had the feeling no-one cared at this point and they’d all given up.

They could still pull it back for Miranda if there’s a S2. Leave Che in LA and let’s have the professor/Miranda storyline but have the characters behaving like normal people, instead of idiots. We should have seen the fallout from Miranda’s decisions instead of Steve and Brady just going ‘you go, girl! Live your best life!’ This also applies to all the woke tit too. They’re allowed to take the piss out of some of the more stupid stuff instead of finger clicking at it, it’s what makes them relatable. I recommend all the actors, writers and producers rewatch the old episodes of SATC and write a 1000 word essay on each ep before they even think of starting S2.

Kim Cattrell isn’t coming back, so just kill Sam off, much as it pains me to say it and we need Carrie’s voiceover back. The podcast would be an excellent way to do it.

I don’t care about either the teacher or the podcast producer. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT AIDAN’S UP TO!!

@Lady_H agree about the smoking. I couldn’t understand why Carrie hadn’t turned to vaping either.

He’s not been charged…he’s not even been arrested for anything……be interesting to see what they do with him. I’m guessing he’ll be mentioned by name but that’ll be it.

I’m not sure how it would sit for him to have been re-cast. Is he too iconic that the character is ‘him’? They seem to have deleted him as completely as is possible in name as well as person.

I'm not sure legal action is being taken. There's a thread in here for him and I'm sure I read on there that none of the women went to the Police but went straight to the press.

I spent the morning laughing at the person in that article saying that JC should write personal apology notes to everyone in the show for saying he was in it. If anyone deserves an apology its us tattlers for hanging in there for all ten episodes of this steaming dung pile.

Oh and SJP is off on one again about Kim Cattrall saying KC couldnt come back now due to so much bad public feeling on KC part, witch you cant dump someone who already left.

I’m a massive Samantha fan, I love Kim Catrall (think she’s bat tit crazy though), but I’m so over it now. She doesn’t want to do it, Carrie and Samantha have met off screen and hopefully that puts it to bed.
surely if we were getting a series two it would have been announced?

Loving Carrie as the new Frasier Crane and her new podcast man. If that’s the last we see of her That enough for me.
