Also, Miranda’s a ginger again after whining about how women aren’t allowed to grow their grey hair. She gives up an exclusive well sought after internship for a weird lesbian pot head who isn’t even that funny.

Charlotte wtf why r u screaming in a restaurant? talk in your normal voice, not 10 decibels above It. Also that Rock kid is doing my head in, she made a big hulla balloo about being non binary, even changing her name without her parents knowledge. Then after her parents spent hundreds of thousands for her to have her “They Mitzvah” to honour their religion, she doesn’t want to be a Jew, a boy, a girl, non binary or even A NEW YORKER! duck off you little turd!

Then Carrie was kind of weird this episode it’s very obvious a lot of the Big scenes were cut, as when in Paris they even zoomed in on her as to cut someone out , and it’s very obvious the ghost of Big had a convo with her on the Bridge over the Seine. Also, what was is it with the boss and her getting together, no alluding or build up to any sort of storyline. Just wham bam let’s do a Miranda finger special in the elevator!

I swear to God if they do a second series I will genuinely sue HBO.

Me in court asking for this solely for the Miranda kitchen scene alone.

Oops, my bad! I forgot nobody in SATC is allowed to have any parents. 😅
 
I think the ending was hastily added, and filmed, after Big’s scenes were cut. Anyone else? None of it makes sense and smacks of the producers panicking that there had to be “something”.
The real ending was probably Ghost Big on the bridge saying “You got this kiddo, that dress is absofuckinglutely awful though. Oh and by the way I gave Natasha a million dollars because she was a great duck”.
 
It would have been MUCH better for Miranda and Charlotte to appear on the bridge in Paris, saying they couldn't let her do it alone. SATC was all about sisterhood and you know that's what they'd have done then.

And in my head, Carrie would say to Miranda, "But what about LA? What about Che?"

And Miranda would say, "Oh duck no, they sang to me, Carrie. I could have died."
 
I mean What The Actual??

Miranda - class A witch, your friend is grieving, let her believe what gives her comfort and keep your judgment to yourself. Not to mention the fuss she kicked up over Carrie going to Paris, but it’s absolutely fine for her to give up her studies/internship/goals whatever to chase a terrible person across the country. Right.
Charlotte - I can’t even take seriously with her weird lips. Thank god for Harry.
Carrie - ok in this episode, but awful dress. Her scenes made very little sense as obviously Big was cut out. Not to mention the Samantha text, what happened? Did they meet? Are we expected to believe they’re friends again and all is well but it all happened off screen? WTF?
Antony - best character, most like how he was in the series!
Seema - ok, no Samantha obvs but could be a decent character if she takes her head out of Carrie’s arse. And maybe don’t indulge in light foreplay while on the phone to your mate. Rude!
Any other random characters - don’t give a tit about.

Story lines I’m confused about - What happened to the teacher if she’s kissing podcast man? Is lily a piano prodigy? Have they forgotten Standford exists? What happened to the big weird apartment and what was beeping? Did the neighbours suddenly quieten down and stop having parties? Where’s Steve? Did he just cope with divorce? Did no one judge Miranda for cheating on him? Why did Che suggest she doesn’t do ‘normal’ relationships but then appears to be happy with Miranda? What was up with Charlotte’s school mum friend? Just appeared now and then to solve problems? Who cares about the tutor and her husband? What happened with Harry’s colonoscopy? Did he have it?

A few thoughts:
1) Miranda is insufferable. She could have easily gone to Paris AND LA to support Carrie! And as if a 14 hour business class flight is an inconvenience 🙄
Also, she has at least a decade or two’s experience as a partner in a law firm, yet the Human Rights Watch internship is such an unmissable opportunity?! Sure.
2) Rock is a spoilt brat - if I were Charlotte would have told them in no uncertain terms to get the duck up on that podium! If they wanted to pull out they didn’t need to wait until the day of the “they mitzvah” that easily cost $10k.
3) Carrie really missed a trick with the post it story. The link marigolds were ridiculous. And (as someone who needs to sprinkle my grandparent’s ashes soon) she needed another bag for the ashes - now that Eiffel Tower bag is gonna be…dusty.
4) I remain traumatised by Che Diaz.
