Urgh just finished season 6 of satc again and Iā€™m so frustrated that they even went on to make the movies. IMO itā€™s one of the best endings in TVā€¦ the song and all of their respective ā€œendingsā€ā€¦. I wish it had just ended there. I hate that AJLT is a thing. (I will still hate watch though obv)
 
Carrie starts dating again, she goes on a date with a guy who seems nice enough, he admits it's the first date he has been on since his wife died.
Carrie makes this face:

Next scene: they seem to be at some charity event where you can win a date, "...with sex writer Carrie Bradshaw!" Carrie is affronted at being referred to as a sex writer, "Sex writer? Like what, like I write porn?" (this is directed at Charlotte, as she's the emotional battering ram).

She sees the guy she went on a date with, and takes the mature approach

Miranda is all upset that Che hasn't responded to her DM. They see one another, Che asks, "Why are you being weird?"
"Oh because you gave me alcohol and weed whilst my friend was asleep and recovering when I should have been sober, in case of an emergency, then you finger-banged and walked out. What's up with your behaviour? By the way, I'm a lawyer."
"You didn't write me back šŸ„ŗ"

And in a truly bizarre exchange, Harry and Charlotte are playing tennis, Charlotte barges into Harry. Harry asks later, "Don't you have something you want to say to me?"
Charlotte: "WOMEN apologise to the whole world, all day long, for everything! Sorry, not sorry!"

When Miranda caught Brady smoking weed with Che outside the funeral, she had a go at Che.

Then when back inside, was embarrassed to learn that Che was Carrie's boss and so she and Che decided to start again and Miranda introduced herself and said she was just being the "Momma Bear" around Brady. To which Che said something like, "Momma Bear? More like Rambo!" to which Miranda went all giggly-girly about and they referred to the nickname the next time they met at the "comedy" gig.

Now Miranda is using it as a weird pet name for herself.

I was the same! However, I think it might something to do with Rose wanting to be called Rock/Rocky? Like theyā€™re both Sylvester Stallone characters. I think Miranda had a conversation with Che about being non-binary, although I also zoned out on that too.

ETA: looks like I was way off then šŸ¤£

Iā€™ve said it before and Iā€™ll say it again Miranda referring to herself as Rambo makes me feel ill šŸ¤¢

It is the nickname that maybe probably possibly potentially gay these days 'Miranda' goes by in the company of Che. It's all part of her personality transplant.

Her sex scenes have always been the cringiest, even with Steve I could barely watch. She always had the guys with the most 'quirky' sexual behaviour
 
My take on last night's episode.

I enjoyed the picnic and plastic surgeon scenes. Felt more like the old days. Especially Charlotte's reaction to Miranda's indiscretion.

I thought Carrie's trouser suit was sensational, really stylish and not the usual outfit we'd see her in. I'd look horrendous in high waisted trousers like that, they would make my belly look even bigger. šŸ˜­

I really missed Miranda's red hair when this series started, but her hair seems to have changed from the first couple of episodes, almost looks like a wig as it's so perfect, but I thought Miranda looked gorgeous in the picnic scene.

I'm still getting over the actor that plays Anthony is 62 IRL, he absolutely looks nowhere near that age, at least 12 years younger. (This is after I yesterday learned Claude from The Apprentice is 72! What moisturiser are these men using?). Anthony has definitely been the comedy this series needs desperately. God, I miss Stanford so much though.

The scenes with Miranda's college lecturer out with friends and back home having a shag were boring. Me and my boyfriend agreed that we just aren't invested in, or caring about these side characters, nor having their own storylines. (Yes, my poor fella had been roped into watching it with me, I watch SATC on constant repeat and he begrudgingly enjoys some episodes, I've caught him laughing at scenes and he knows the character's names. My work here is done!)

The CGI on that apartment balcony was lame AF, just... why?!?!

Also, did Carrie buy that place, then sell it just as quick? The beeping storyline was dragged out and seemed pointless. Are we also really to believe that after over a decade living in absolute luxury, with closets the size of her old place, that she really would move back to that tiny apartment of hers?

Finally, where the heck was Steve "What did you Shay?" Brady?

That's so funny. I literally just posted saying the same thing. I was scrutinising those pics last night trying decide. Saddo that I am. šŸ¤£

I wonder if any of this will make any more sense in the context of the episode? and what has happened with Harry and his protate exam or whateverit was?
