She did look very much like the old Carrie at the end. Not so much through the rest of the episode, I appreciate she's gotten older but I don't see Carrie from SATC wearing the burgundy suit she had on, just not very her?
 
I’d no idea dolls in national costumes were a no-no!

I was looking forward to 'and just like that' series , as I loved the original, but found this such a disappointment. It doesn't bear no resemblance to the characters in the original.Where the ballsy attitude?, Where's the quick one liners from Carrie?, In fact where is any of the humour?, It's set feminism back 50 years!!!!, What with Carrie acting like a clapped out old hag( when she is only in her 50's), Miranda totally losing her fire and turning to drink?, and Don't get me started on the Forced Box ticking, trying to fit every type of person into the show, weather it blends together or not, Why did they feel the need to do this??, It's so forced.Why have they made Che the main star?, And Brady and his girlfriend!!, I'm guessing this has to do with the three original Cast members having more creative control and not wanting to do sex scenes!!.
 
How is that masturbation scene with Brady at the door in any way acceptable or appropriate? I have a young son and I find the way Brady is treated really upsetting. Would it have been ok if a man was jerking off with his 17 year old daughter outside? The sexualisation of this child on this show is absolutely disgusting.

I think we're all meant to be woke enough now to be able to handle this. First episode was about public masturbation which was deemed as very very acceptable (I think....maybe being woke means you know its not but you're in on the joke) I just don't understand it, there are things you can't find acceptable and will be vilified for but you can also shock people?

I have 2 teenage sons and I would never, ever, ever in a million years treat them like Brady is treated. Where are the boundaries? Where is the respect? Who takes themselves off to bed for a wank in the middle of the day with their kid in the house? Has she no self control? Did Miranda only just rediscover masturbation upon the arrival of Che? If she was so sex starved surely she'd have been doing it all along? I absolutely HATE this new Miranda, in fact, I think I refuse to call her Miranda going forward, she is Cynthia, not our beloved character.

Right? You can't own a doll dressed up as another nationality...but it is fine to masturbate in public, or in earshot of your child. What the actual duck world do they think we're living in?

So upset what they’ve done with Miranda, she was my favourite and now she’s just awful. Poor Brady, he’ll need a lot of therapy.
I miss the voice overs and the way each episode had a theme. This new series feels so messy and disjointed. And that would annoy me even without all the ramming “we’re so woke” down our throats. I’m so sad it’s not better 🙄
