‘A finger puppet show’ 🤣🤣🤣

I could sort of get on board with Miranda having a mid life crisis and feeling taken for granted by her family and feeling bored by middle aged life. I could also understand, as a previous poster has said, her having an attraction to another female, even though there’s been no hint of her being even slightly gay so far. These things can and do happen in real life.

But Che?! CHE?!! Ffs. The character is just horrendous. If this means we’ll be seeing more of her (possibly quite literally), I’m think I’m done. I don’t want to watch The Che Show.

I also forgot to add in Ché’s behaviour is not normal. She’s also a crappy person. Great you are non binary but you’re still a bleeping asshole who has sex with women you know are married and encouraging drug use.

She showed up to her recovering co-workers flat with tequila and had sex with her co-workers friend in the kitchen.

She’s enabling adultery and alcoholism, it’s very evident even from an outsiders perspective that Miranda’s drinking is not right.

Also, it’s creepy. Miranda was piss drunk and stoned, and she comes on to Miranda and then proceeds to cover her mouth whilst fingering her. That’s creepy and if it was a man doing it, it would be a massive issue from the get go.
Imagine the character is a man: Alone with Carrie in a lift and tells her to step her pussy up. Invites herself round, still comes in even though she’s asleep. Gets the person looking after her drunk and finger bangs her

Ah I don't know. I think a lot of you are massively not getting it, whilst sounding pretty preachy/Karen-ey

I've really enjoyed the new series so far. As a little gay kid growing up in the 90's/00's - I was fascinated with this program, along with millions of others. Loved the first movie, the second was a bit cringe - but like all franchises, it has its moments.
I was nervous when I heard about the new series, especially taking into account the fact Samantha wasn't going to be a part of it.
However, I'm pleasantly surprised. It's tackled a load of current issues whilst keeping some humour. Death, alcoholism, struggles with sexual/gender identity, the fact we all have to be soooo overly cautious about how we address people - based on their skin colour, sexuality, gender pronouns - these are all really real and current issues so many face today.

I haven't read this whole thread however, I'm pretty disappointed at a good few posts around Miranda. To be honest? You all need to get a grip and try to look beyond your own mundane outlook on the world.
Growing up within the community over the last 20+ years - I have friends, family members even - that have similiar stories to Miranda. Some that have never even so much as thought about a member of the same sex in a sexual way until they were in their 40's, 50's, 60's. One of my best friends was married to a man for 15 years, met a woman in The George with me 5 year ago and is now happily married to her.
...and saying "Ew, Che - why? Why would Miranda choose Che? She's revolting. We might have to see her nude" - jaysus, bleeping listen to yourselves. I can guarantee I wouldn't want to see any of your saggy tits either - however, usually I'd have more tact.

Moral of the story? Don't be a judgey prick. Take your rose coloured glasses off and get off your Karen perch and realise that everyone in the world is different. Not every person deals with or reacts to situations the way you would - and that's OK.
I know this is a website for debates and what not but fuccccck - thank christ I don't have to deal with some of you in real life!

Tbf I don’t think most people are comparing the Miranda storyline with how they would deal with it, I think everyone’s more shocked how much Miranda has lost her way (alcohol, allowing Brady to behave as he does in her house and cheating on Steve) I don’t think it’s just down to the fact she’s having relations with Che, I think it’s the way it was done - while Carrie was vulnerable and Miranda was looking after her. That’s what pissed me off the most, I really didn’t think Miranda would of done that

‘Karen’. ‘Saggy tits’. That says it all. How about you stop being misogynistic and ageist and take your own advice about being a judgey prick?

And you realise Che is a fictional character, right? As they all are? Just wondered.

But that's the point - people are shocked at how much Miranda has lost her way - that's the reality. For so many people.
...and sorry, Carrie was hardly in bed hooked up to a ventilator - she's asleep in bed.

Another poster here called it "drug use" - again, Che didn't bring over a crack pipe.
She has tequila, she took a DRAG of a joint, and she had a moment of madness (which she apologises for profusely)
Again, harsh reality? That's life. It happens.

The word Karen is literally a term to shout at women who in anyway have an opinion and it’s a way keep women in their place in fear of having the horrifying title of being a “Karen”

Also don’t refer to old women’s breasts as “saggy tits” that is so highly inappropriate
Oh no, oh no no no!!! In MY opinion, which I'm allowed to have the last time I checked, a Karen judges another persons life, whether it's their decisions, their actions, their choices - and is critical and judgey of that.
Which many here are doing, hence in MY opinion - making them a Karen.

I gotta say I am loving Carrie, I love how personally I think she looks amazing and has aged well, love her clothes love how true to the character she is. But other than that what a shitshow that episode was awful and I am soooooo sick of word woke which I have always hated but you can't not think it when watching! I hate what they have done to Miranda and Steve, Miranda isn't Miranda any more, And I am so annoyed and can't believe that scene but I can't say too much coz I can't deny it did give me some fanny flutters I can't lie 🤣🤣

I sense you may have failed to grasp the nature of Tattle, please be aware this is not Mumsnet, I repeat, this is not Mumsnet so please stop trying to frame it as such.
