Series so good you binged more than once

This topic is so relevant to me today, I’m in mourning - I rewatched the US Office this last week, finished it last night, and I am genuinely gutted I don’t have anymore to watch. thinking about rewatching it again 🤦‍♀️ What is wrong with me ?? So funny and so much heart, I’ve sobbed and laughed out loud and both at the same time sometimes. Just awesome. Not the same but also not bad when Steve Carrell leaves but some of the later characters start off so unbearable and then I end up warming to them. Testament to the writing/acting I guess

peep show is another fave - lost count of how many nights I’ve fallen asleep to peep show on loop

Atlanta and insecure I rewatch regularly - the humour, writing and soundtracks ❤️

sopranos I love just picking up at any point when it’s on, same with friends (although not the same genre admittedly)

Alan partridge, phoenix nights, fools and horses, keeping up appearances

Oh we have the exact same taste in tv shows and I totally agree with what you’ve said,
I finished the US office months ago again and it felt like I had lost friends it was something I looked forward to watching every night and when I finished I felt sad and lonely 😞

Aw 🥰 Love it when I find other people who watch the same as me - I struggle to find anyone in real life who watches the same shows. I’m not in to anything with murder etc. in it, which is most tv nowadays. I can handle some drama and I will watch the odd true life doc but I can’t regularly purposely watch anything that I know is upsetting because that isn’t entertaining to me - I search out comedies and comedy dramas. I’m reading everyone’s faves and hoping I get some new recommendations

Community and Seinfeld are two other regular repeats too

I’ve lost count how many times I’ve rewatched the US Office. It’s a proper comfort tv show for me. I think I quote something from an episode daily 🤣 I always get sad when I finish a rewatch and whenever I cba finding something to watch I’ll stick a random funny ep on for a laugh

I forgot about The Office (UK) 😂.

Although not technically a series, just 6 episodes I can binge watch all of the BBC's adaptation of Pride & Prejudice starring Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth over and over again.

I regularly rewatch Keeping up Appearances, One Foot in the Grave, Are you being served?. Oldies but goodies.
On the drama side I've binged 24 and Sons of Anarchy.

I’m the exact same. Every so often I’ll binge watch Keeping Up Appearances. Many would argue that the formula is quite repetitive - Hyacinth sets out a new elaborate plan to climb the social ladder, involves her neighbour Elizabeth, Liz spills the coffee, Hyacinth’s plan backfires when her relatives show up, and so on, but I never grow tired of it. They don’t make TV shows like that anymore. So sad watching it now knowing so many of the cast have passed away.

Me and my partner have this cycle we go around😂

Friends
Gavin and Stacey
Benidorm
Nora from Queens
Dave
Modern Family
People just do nothing
This country
Young offenders

I finished SOA again ( watch Sopranos before that) then went straight onto Mad men and feel absolutely bereft that I have watched them and now they have ended. I feel lost and alone now.

Watching "See" is okay but not something I think I will watch again
