Hope this thread is allowed

This whole thing is really sad and strange and just seen now on the news the stepmother and father have released some video which seems to show nothing but concern for themselves and their own circumstances.
I've got a feeling that poor Sara had been living a life similar to Arthur Labinjo, I guess time will tell.
What's everyone's thoughts?

Stunned at their audacity with that video.

Seriously, how "me me me" can you get? It's everyone's fault but theirs isn't it. Absolutely no compassion or empathy for Sara, and willing to allow their remaining children to starve because they don't want to come out of hiding. And how does "cooperating with British authorities" marry up with fleeing the country on one way tickets and going into hiding in a country without an extradition treaty?
These two have made me so angry today.

I honestly think that they'd seen people commit crimes and flee abroad to countries without extradition treaties with few consequences in the past and thought they'd get away with it.

I don’t think think they considered the fact that theirs isn't a political crime or something that's illegal in the UK but just grand in Pakistan. Or that even if the general population and authorities in Pakistan thought torturing and killing little children is fine (which they obviously don't) they're hardly likely to stand up on what is now essentially an international stage and say that they're happy to harbour child murderers fleeing justice abroad. It was never going to happen. Of course they'll send them back.

Idiots.

Awful case - the poor mother being kept away from her kids while the dad abused them.

And the other kids who've gone with the dad and stepmum are at risk.
I’m not sure it’s entirely ‘poor mother’ though. Sara was removed from her Mothers care a year or two ago at the behest of the UK family court. That’s a pretty high threshold in my experience so I suspect - sadly- that for Sara it was a case of ‘out of the frying pan into the fire’.

Don‘t come at me, that’s just what I read in passing somewhere…..i might be wrong?

No, I've read the same thing so I agree that poor girl never had a chance. Those 2 need to get back here and face up to what they've done. Find it strange how she done all the talking and referred to Sara's death as an "incident", wonder did she mean to say accident.

Yeah, his body language said it all eh? He was the one that instigated the initial fleeing of the country, and she’s driving the fresh approach of engagement now that it hasn’t worked. They’re trying to work out a deal. Anyone with a brain can see what they’ve done. Sickening.

Rest in peace lovely Sara.

No she meant incident.

I am really sad for that little girl and i find the photo of her they keep using which she has a lot of makeup on very disturbing,

I saw some of the family video and found it ridiculous that they claimed to have no food for the kids and wont go out.
That photo disturbs me as well. All the makeup. The off the shoulder dress when the stepmother is wearing a high necked dress with her hair covered.
Something is not right.

I've read that the father was resident parent but he had shared access, or was meant to have. I get the impression Sara's mother Olga now lives in Poland, which may have complicated matters with regard to schools and Sara's relationships with her other siblings. I'm assuming Olga is Polish.

It's all very sad and disturbing.

It is clear from the video that they only care about themselves. They thought they'd have it easy in Pakistan and that no one would bat an eyelid but didn't consider that they would go for their family and that the police and others would get to them via their family.

I absolutely believe the police there would tortured them. They thought they could be above the law and now they are hiding from it. They deserve everything that's coming for them. I hope they stay there.

I too find the photo sad and disturbing. Granted I don't know any ten year olds, but would a 10 year old playing dress up be able to apply makeup that way? It looks quite well done as if someone has done it for her. Maybe it depends on the child.

I think they thought that since there is no extradition treaty they would be safe. They probably should have done some research before flying to Pakistan, as it doesn't take more than a quick Google search to see that you can still be extradited, and the police in Pakistan have already shown that they are much more heavy handed than the UK police.

disgusting LIARS
all the kids have just been found with their grandad- who previously claimed he did not know anything and didnt have them
the parents lied on video saying the kids were with them but couldnt go out or get food for them because they were being harrassed.
grandad has begged the son to face justice, yet hes lied to the police too!
