Sam4G0d / Sam4God #2 - What's more threadbare? her leggings, or her career?

New thread! Title thanks to @Mark81

Recap
Not much has changed - Sam’s still a privileged 30-something year old, living in Central London, convincing Dad4God to pay for her Disney "work" trips.

  • Sam had a creepy hotel encounter. She called the front desk about a spiderweb, and an overly friendly woman showed up, leaving behind an earring (because, why not?). The woman returns, banging on the door and yelling. Sam freaks out, calls all her friends to save her life and now needs trauma therapy.
  • Her GAP star joggers (not leggings, we keep forgetting) are still holding up. Despite being a millionaire, she dresses like a drunk toddler and refuses to acknowledge that hair conditioner is a thing.

Wow, the replies have really attacked her and rightfully so!!

You can have a top, private education worth millions and still be stupid, it seems.
Too many to post but even her responses are stupid. This first response, she hasn’t even grasped what they’re saying.

And speaking of uncles and caring about people, didnt they let hers live in an airport when they could have easily bought him a home or let him move in with them? Sure, she sounds so compassionate towards PEOPLE

Sam, stick to Disney…

Wasn't that situation created by his visa/passport status rather than a lack of money? Please do correct me if I'm wrong but I thought he was forced to live in the airport because he could neither re-enter the country the airport was in, nor fly to another country due to something weird about his visa/passport?

You say stick to Disney, however I think she's sticking quite well to 'entitled and out of touch with the real world' really well!

Far too many responses to post!! :D She just goes full on troll.

Goes to show how she doesn't need to maintain a squeaky clean online persona as she just doesn't need the money!

True, i havent actually seen the film, just read about it. After they sorted out the papers, he stayed there for some reason.
They previously lived together in London for a bit.
He had mental health problems and died in a homeless shelter of a heart attack. Sad.

You can tell she doesn't need to do YouTube by the way she churns out content.

She’s replied to this Threads post and had a good old argument with the OP:

I feel like butting in and telling her to get a job!

Tell me you’ve never had a pet without telling me you’ve never had a pet. She lives in an alternate reality this one. She’d be more devastated by Disney closing for good and folding as a company than losing a person.

I'm with her on the pet vs person thing tbh (and yeah I've had pets)

Losing a pet is hard, very hard. But it doesn't compare to losing a close loved one. Partly evident by how quickly most pet owners get a new pet.

The original post is badly worded, it says person vs pet. So the logical thing is to compare a pet to someone you're close to (e.g. child, parent etc). Not Aunt Susan you never see, or a stranger down the street. Otherwise what's the point of the post?! Obviously a pet you live with will mean more than a stranger. It's a very vague stupid statement.

i felt the same pain losing my dog, who I was gifted as a child, as I did a grandparent. To me, it is absolutely comparable. I never got a new dog, because losing them was too hard for me.
I agree it’s vague, but Sam took it as a blanket statement, applying it to all people.

People don’t get new pets to replace, people get new pets to fill a massive hole that a pet leaves. I didn’t get a new dog for like 6 years as it was too painful and they don’t change the way you feel about the pet before.

I’ve cried and grieved harder for my dogs than actual people. Looking out of my kitchen window that night seeing my dog buried in the garden was just so incredibly painful.

The original post says “can be” not “is”. Personally speaking, I love my cats but I’d never compare their deaths to the deaths of my family members. But I don’t have to, which is what the post says. It’s the fact Sam is doubling down instead of saying “I interpreted that differently/incorrectly” that’s the issue.

Haven’t watched her in ages tbh, but I’m watching the latest vlog right now. For someone who prides herself on how well she speaks French, her pronunciation of Notre Dame is quite funny.
Also, I know she always says this, it’s one of her staples, but what’s the point of constantly saying „slowly but surely“??
In the park she yells so loudly at the camera (marveling at her atrocious shot of the castle) that people actually turn around to her.
Skipping through her showing the menu, she speaks so fast that she can barely breathe; more off-key singing; holds up her plate to the camera instead of taking it into her hand to get a decent shot; she really has no filming ability at all, despite more than a decade on YouTube; sadly she’s gone back to film herself while eating; ok even if she does hold the camera to show her food, she still holds up the plate too, obstructing the camera in the process. She eats like a child who’s learning to use cutlery while still holding the camera. God Sam, that is the moment you put the camera to the side and film from there. How does she not see all this when she’s editing? But what am I saying, she rarely edits and has been doing the same thing forever.
