I've been meaning to watch this for ages ...

What did everyone think?

I'm not normally interested in period dramas but I loved everything about this one ... what a charming movie and absolutely gorgeous locations, costumes, the lot.

'The Talented Mr Ripley' is my favourite movie and this reminded me a lot of that in many ways (more so the scenery and style of acting).

I watched it a few months back on a rainy Sunday afternoon. It hit the spot. I really enjoyed it.

Love the original black and white version which is my fave, but really enjoyed this remake too.
