Rachael Swindon 'I hate to ask, but...'

OK, few peeps have asked for a thread on Rachael Swindon, so here it is.

According to her X bio "Left | “The Woman Leading Corbyn’s Twitter Army” - Buzzfeed | Tragically Blocked By More Than 100 Tory MPs | Million-Viewed Blog Site Below | Coffee table fan" it's also rumoured that the account and blog are run by her husband.

She's the grifter's grifter basically. Regularly on the beg for things via PayPal, usually with the phrase "I hate to ask, but" before trying to extort money from various unsuspecting members of the public who think she's doing God's work by sitting on her arse and tweeting. Another one who really needs investigating, receipts keeping etc...

Chat on, uguise...

Since things haven't taken off here yet...
I joined Twitter at the start of lockdown. You won't be too deep into left wing Twitter before she gets retweeted into your feed. So, one of my early follows.
Also probably my introduction to beggy-Twitter. Constantly asking for donations to her PayPal "if you enjoy my work". What, your bleeping tweets? Get lost. Blocked her annoying cartoon chops ages ago.
Just for those who are new to her, her name isn't Swindon. She's from Swindon. At least afaik.

Yes her surname is Cousins
Amazing she’s disabled, has no money, unemployed etc but they’ve taken on another rescue dog - they have THREE DOGS - who the duck decides to have 3 dogs with no stable income?!

I was thinking this the other day. I don't begrudge poor people pets, however, I have two (rescue) cats. They cost me £55 a month in insurance, £30 in cat litter and £33 in not particularly fancy cat food, plus a fiver on treats. It's a lot of money when you've got it, let alone when you're on the beg.

This probably isn't going to work as a post, but I have been trying to think how to word it for a while now... I would like to keep an eye on this thread, as I've been aware of 'Rachael' as a grifter for a long time now. But using words like 'genocide' and 'ethnic cleansing' is very loaded and biased (and inaccurate), and I think what makes Tattle threads work in general is people keeping their focus on the horrible behaviour of the thread subject, rather than getting dragged into side arguments.

Essentially... as a Jewish person who's just lived through the worst 100 days of my life, [deleted many details here] I'd love to keep watching this thread, but is it possible that we could all avoid using language that is inflammatory and likely to lead to internecine conflict? Like... could this quoted post say something like... "here she is using the deaths of thousands of people to further her grift"?

This may not fly at all, in which case I will just delete the thread from my watch list and slink away quietly. But I would like to be able to stay on it, and I think she deserves to have her horrible behaviour brought to light in the way that Sarah VaJayJay, Jack, and Simon have, so gloriously.

Thank you for this, it’s thoughtful and considered and I sincerely apologise if I’ve offended or upset you with my words. I completely appreciate your viewpoint and totally understand it. I’ll be more careful in future and you must stay on this thread - there is absolutely no need for you to slink away. This is one of the things I’ve come to love about Tattle, certainly on all the threads I’m on, people are honest and open with each other…
