It is a disappointment this series 😕
Every time they're close to the checkpoint and race I think it's so silly. They're all there at the same time, they could all walk together and not get burnt out 😂 I loved the ladi and Monique chat though, made me tear up. I feel sorry for Claudia, Kevin is absolutely clueless as a dad but I haven't seen anything likeable about her either.
I'm wondering whether they didn't have enough film crew this series either... Maybe that's why they all have to take the same route?? In the opening credits they say 'are we missing out on the joys of travelling through' I think they should've taken that out for this one or given them more time between checkpoints. They're not seeming to be doing anything other than trying to catch transport.

I watched the previous 2 series of this and loved them. I’d been to some of the countries and was in Singapore when they got to Marina Bay Sands in series 1. To me, this one is disappointing at best. It’s not a race across the world, it’s a race across Canada.

Part of the enjoyment of watching the previous ones was that every country brought a new challenge. I’ve given up on this one.

I’m disappointed with this series after looking forward to it. I get tired of the endless whingeing ,particularly the 2 ladies . Her husband must have been in poor health before she set off surely as he has had a kidney transplant. ? This constant ‘you’ve got this ‘ is toe curling . The endless car sharing and the faux friendliness they display when trying to blag a lift is a little wearing too .

It is very 'let's see who can hitch a ride across Canada'. Maybe I'm just missing series 2 and the amazing countries, the couples and an actual race. I saw that they were advertising for people to go for series 4 so I wonder what they will do with that one? I thought maybe Australia and NZ but I can't see that being very interesting either 🤔

I think the problem with Canada, USA, Australia and probably New Zealand is the lack of transport options. You fly, drive or take the main train routes really. They're relatively easy to travel across and don't have the diversity you find in Asia and South America. Africa I don't think has the inter country transport options either, plus many would present a safety issue at some point.

Another one in Asia, maybe including India. Japan tip to tip maybe. Or another south American one, maybe race from vancouver to the southern tip of south America

Gotta give it to emon from season 2.. run the Manchester marathon last weekend whilst fasting for Ramadan and he’s doing the London one today

I travelled from Japan tip to tip in 2017 - Started in Sapporo and ended in Naha. It took 6 weeks and was amazing! It's really easy to get around by train in Japan (only time I used a plane was to fly from Kagoshima to Naha). It would be interesting to see it, but I reckon they would just use the train!

I think one starting in Portugal and ending in Eastern Europe could be good, a bit similar to S1 though. India would be amazing if they included Sri Lanka as well. Maybe a Nordic series would be good as there's some very remote places.

I’ve been re watching series 2, what a difference this one is. I think it felt a lot more like a race even when they ended up on the same transport, no one seems bothered if they win now, they maybe should have upped the prize money with the cost of living. I liked all the couples as well they all had interesting reasons for going and their relationships improved as it went on, I loved the mum and son and I even liked Jen in the end she was quite funny. Claudia has no interest in improving their relationship she won’t move on, the producers maybe thought they had potential to move past their issues and reconnect but she needs therapy not a race around the world. The two women are annoying but I do like Monique and her dad, it was lovely last week. Let’s see if Claudia and her dad run out of money this week. 🤞

Hi all I hope you have those shots ready tonight. 🥃🍻🥂🍸

Bingo cards out eyes down… I’m feeling someone is going to get a full house tonight as they can’t stop repeating the same shite every week.

I was just thinking are Monique and her trying to recreate the dad and son duo from the 1st series. If so I’ve never
