I ended up really rooting for them this episode. They took some risks (big one with the ferry choice) and it paid off.

I am really sceptical about some of the car shares and people offering a place to stay overnight though. Maybe people are more generous if they know they may end up on tv

Would have been happy with any of them tbh, the editing has really spoiled this series, but I think they had limited content to work with due to such restricted public transport. The made up jobs really need to stop too!

I just zoomed in on the book as I'm too nosey, arrival times were 10.16, 12.10 & 12.35, so quite a winning margin, especially when it looked like the wrong decision on the quicker ferry.

Was 30 mins behind. Really annoyed they didn’t tell us that. It’s bloody fundamental.

I just love Ladi’s and Monique’s relationship. I want a dad like that. Mine was a git.

Really warmed to Zainab and Mobeen. She unclenched in this journey. That hard carapace was a front to mask her vulnerabilities. They were so meant to be in that car at that time. They will make great parents.

The winners were not my favourites but they were bloody steadfast and were so determined. Fair play.

The people in that region were lovely, such a contrast to Quebec. Newfoundland and Labrador are great dogs too.

I was just thinking if Cathy and Tricia had waited for the long ferry, then all three teams would have been on the same boat. I think they made this episode more interesting to be fair!

To be fair I think the other two couples who didn’t win got more out of it, it strengthened their relationships where as despite what they were claiming I’m sure Cathy and Trish were really starting to piss each other off. I think Ladi and Monique were so far behind because their lift was last off the ferry.
