I know they are a bit irritating, they are a bit fussy for me, but I don’t mind them. I think it’s the country choice / lack of route options that irritates me more!
(And I love Canada, it just doesn’t really work for a race).
I agree, I think also having family in similar situation to her I also sympathise and can see how amazingly she is handling it. Her sight doesn't 'come and go', sightloss is far more complex than that and it's amazing what people can do to cope when they lose one sense. Even now I get caught of guard when I think they can't see something but they can, albeit distorted/blurred/outlines etc.
