PayPal Refund query

Hi all

I bought something from a reputable company..
I used PayPal and I returned the item over 3 weeks ago. I haven't received my refund from the company. I've filled a complaint with PayPal and I'll need to escalate it before the end of Dec . I've sent proof I've returned but I'm being fobbed off constantly.

I'm not hopeful the company will refund me after checking the reviews on trust pilot.

My question is .. how reliable is PayPal for refunding?

I've always had refunds issued from PayPal and tend to use them a lot on sites I'm nor familiar with (or new). You can escalate the case from your account and they generally act within the time frame given. Never had a problem with them honestly so I hope you get refunded soon.

Maybe screenshot a few reviews and send them to PayPal to help your case.

This retailer can't be that "reputable" if they're doing this. The more evidence you provide the better -- send PP screenshots of the retailer's returns policy and their responses to your comms along with your proof of postage and screenshot of tracking status. Any claims I've made to PP in the past were ruled in my favour and I got a refund.
