Have you seen the movie Steve Coogan and John C Reilly did about Laurel and Hardy in their later years? It's really good and both actors do a great job with their characters.

Lots of 'Way Out West' ... the dance anyway.

I have been meaning to watch it but never got round to it. I sometimes always worry that directors/producers will do a hatchet job with these kind of "tributes" to classic stars of old. But i do like Steve Coogan, so will probably watch the film once and for all, albeit later rather than sooner.

It's not a hatched job at all. It's actually done with a lot of love. I think you'll enjoy it. Coogan is great as Stan.

I love Psycho with Anthony Perkins. Still powerful today, even though it's now called "transphobic" and been put on TCMs list of problematic movies.

I also love Midnight Cowboy, with Dustin Hoffmann as Ratso Rizzo. Great 60s editing and performances.

The Easter Weekend is the place to be for old musicals.

Watched The Sound of Music the other day now moved watching Grease. Bliss.

I think The Sound of Music is my all time favourite movie.

The Sound of Music is mine too. My Nan had it on VHS and we would watch it most Saturday nights after Baywatch, Catchphrase and Blind Date on ITV. 😭
