I’m annoyed that Kate Garrway’s documentary has just won the award for best doc. Yes, it’s sad what he husband and family are going through. But her husband was grossly overweight, drank, lived a luxury lifestyle (this doesn’t mean her deserves it) but basically he was unhealthy. And everyone is treating him like a Hercules.

The real hero IMO is Rob Burrow the rugby player who has MND. It’s actually heartbreaking to see what he’s going through.
I’m not saying once Derek deserves what he’s gone through, I just think the doc deserves an award.
Anyway, what’s everyone else’s opinions on the whole awards tonight 🤣

Just came to say I'm so happy I don't watch tv as this program must be scraping the barrel with all these telly tossers, can't stand any of them especially gurning garraway. They're all so fake and I agree about Derek, glad he survived but he was only so ill because he was very unhealthy to begin with.
