I jumped on the bandwagon to memory lane and watched the final week.
I’m 44 so Scott and Charlene were a huge part of playtime’s at junior school, the little tiffs who was playing Charlene 😂
I stopped watching Neighbours around 2002/3 as motherhood took over.
Nice to see so many comeback for the last week.

Question, who was the man on the tv towards the last scene?
Susan’s monologue was the perfect way to end things.
I’m keeping fingers crossed a tv channel starts from the beginning (like they do with classic Corrie and Eastenders)
The one with the tash or the one with the guitar?

Before my time but who is the man with Helen daniels?

I thought the last episode was a fitting tribute, a big celebration! You could see and hear how truly emotional Susan was throughout.

I’m glad the “four musketeers of Ramsay Street” were back together at the end :) It was a bit odd with Kylie barely saying anything. But I guess they didn’t want the Kylie/Jason return to take over from the current cast too much. People would have moaned if she’d had too many lines, so they couldn’t win really 🙄 I’m just glad she agreed to come back. I really thought them pulling up and her saying “Home sweet home” would be the last scene, but how they did it with Susan’s monologue was a fitting end. Kind of gave me Desperate Housewives vibes.

Hats off to Guy Pierce though. Didn’t expect him to have such a big role in the final episodes and it was great to see him and Jane together. He didn’t have to go back but it’s so nice that he remembers his roots and clearly enjoyed himself.

Clive in the gorilla costume...what was that about?

Loved the last episode, think the history book nd Facebook page was a great idea and reason for random old characters to get a mention.

I wonder if Tom Oliver has dementia or something similar? I think if he was capable then he would definitely have been back, his banter with Harold would have just finished it off nicely.

It was a tribute to Clive's gorilla gram scene from the late 80's.

It's her son in law Jim, (Lucy, Paul, Scott and Glenn's father).
Ah thanks guys. The hair made me
Wonder is it’s Henry but looked too old to be him. Love that they included pictures of past characters and actors who have since
Passed away too.

That’s my guess. I doubt if he was well enough he would’ve turned it down.

the history book/Facebook and wedding was a great idea to tie in old characters returning/sending videos.
i didn’t recognise billy Kennedy. Would’ve been nice if he and Anne libby and mal came back to visit at the same time.
Ben and xanthe didn’t get
A mention I don’t think. Would’ve been nice to have seen them.

Yes it was very similar ending as desperate housewives! Knew it felt familiar.

love that they ended on a celebration. Totally right thing to do!

i liked Mike and jane touring the houses and reminiscing. It worked really well. It didn’t feel forced getting them back together but also nice it wasn’t over the top all abouthim trying to win her over. It was lovely the scene of them Scott Charlene and Paul watching everyone.
Bit
Like last episode of Gavin and Stacy(pre Christmas special) left it open if they may or may not get back together like smithy and nessa.
