I don't think the show should ever come back. These last few weeks have been weird enough with so many characters leaving or getting ready to leave in such a short space of time. I wouldn't want it to come back in a year or two and hear poor reasons as to why the entire street is different again because if the show came back Izzy, Malcolm, Scott n Charlene etc won't be around.

I don’t think it will to be honest. Australian audiences killed it off by not watching it so it’s unlikely another production company would want to acquire the rights.
 
Awww wow 😭 Starting to get absolutely gutted about this. Watched it since a kid since the very beginning. I liked the mentions today I even remember Eddie Buckingham 🤣 I’ve avoided this thread for a bit as did not want to see any spoilers accidently but I needed to vent a bit. I need to get into the loft & get my annuals/books/panini sticker books from late 80s early 90s 😭 Booked tickets for the tour even if it turns out it isn’t anything spectacular or i’d kick myself forever otherwise 🙈🤣

Annalise Hartman getting randomly name checked was the one that got me :D For how long she was in the show she gets forgotten more than most. Neighbours need to make the online history of Ramsay Street a thing.

Ooo maybe that’s why they are doing it on Facebook, it will be an actual page you can visit. Otherwise would they be specifically mentioning the social media’s name?

I always found Elly self absorbed and irritating

Avoided this thread as I was in Croatia from the 10th to the 20th, binged all my recorded episodes so bang up to date now. I burst out laughing at Mrs Mangel’s portrait falling off the wall when Byron announced he was an escort 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yes she was great - I thought she was so pretty. Didn't she have that wierd storyline where she was paired up with Lou? The age difference must have been huge.

Awww it’s nice to see this thread. I have watched neighbours for most of my life with the odd break, but have been watching it religiously for the last few years and have to say I am going to find it really hard to say goodbye to it. It is my light hearted escape at the end of the day during the week and I feel so attached to the characters. Truly gutted it is ending, as all good things must.
Really enjoying the old characters popping up and excited for what the last week or so has in store.
